Using NFC, Inspekt.ID communicates directly with a document's chip to confirm its data hasn't been tampered with, and, where supported, that the chip itself is genuine rather than a clone. No server, no cloud upload — every scan happens entirely on your device. HOW IT WORKS 1. Unlock the document by scanning the printed Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) with your camera, or entering the Card Access Number (CAN) manually. 2. Hold your iPhone near the document to read the chip over NFC.
