Overheated on first use and thermal shutdown

I used this to record a new hobby and was super excited to see the footage after I finished… I looked at the device and it said it had shut down due to thermal heating… the environment was not hot and it ran for only 45 minutes according to the length of the video… That is pretty bad…..especially for my first use.. returning the device.

Bug fix shaky video.

Newest update has fixed shaky video within app. I had to hard reset my iPhone 15 pro max for the shakes to disappear, after installing 2.31.4 Hope this helps someone.

Too many ads for a $600 camera

This app will serve almost no function other than serving you ads after buying a $600 camera. The main purpose of the app (get media off my insta360 camera) is buried behind multiple prompts to subscribe (i paid for a $600 camera why do I have to subscribe?!), unneeded AI junk and other unrelated menus.

If i ever get into an accident and need to quickly pull a video file, the app makes it tediously difficult and time consuming.

The camera I bought is amazing and once I do finally get to the media review portion of the app, the picture is great and the editing and view functions are nice. That’s the only redeeming quality this app has.

Now looking to see if someone else makes a similar camera with a better app

Crashes and freezes all the time!

This app used to be great but just going the simplest thing like doing a simple snapshot download from an existing video in my library causes the app to freeze then crash?? What have you done to this app?? Reading other recent reviews it sounds like others are experiencing difficulties too - whoever is on your team doing updates to the app needs to find another job!! Unless this is addressed fairly quickly I can see the ratings for this app and unfortunately the camera going through the floor as without the software it’s useless to create content simply and easily!

iPad app needs an overhaul

The current iPad Pro is more than capable of doing video editing, yet this app is clearly a poorly executed version of the iPhone app. When the iPad is in landscape mode, the app often reverts to portrait mode with no way of getting back into the full landscape, leaving a lot of wasted screen space. Also the app hides the video files from the file explorer, making it a pain to offload video files to a cloud storage provider or local NAS. The only way I’ve been able to do this is to take the SD card out of the camera and transfer the files that way. I love the hardware, but wish these software related frustrations would be addressed.

Currently, the wide-angle cameras that support live streaming are GO Ultra, Ace Pro, and Ace Pro 2, while the supported 360 cameras include X5, X4 Air, X4, X3, ONE X2, ONE X, ONE RS, and ONE R. If you’re using another model, please send your request to service@insta360.com, and our Support team will record it and pass it along to the relevant team. Regarding the computer connection, most of our cameras can be connected to a computer via USB. Please first update the camera firmware to the latest version. If the computer does not recognize the camera when connected using the official cable, please try another cable or USB port, or test it on another computer if possible. If the issue persists, please contact us via the email address above for further assistance.

使いながら編集方法など学んで行ってますが、『下書き』の保存方法がイマイチかなと思う。
ファイル名つけて保存できないので、同じ動画をパターン別に作る時に下書き一覧からファイル名を変えるのがめんどくさいかな…

ちょこちょこ不具合出るが、サポートに報告すれば改善してくれるのは助かります。
（報告方法はめんどくさいですが…）

機能アップ希望点
⚪︎下書きを『上書き保存』と、『名前をつけて保存』できれば使い勝手が良くなるかなと思う。

⚪︎エクスポートの時も名前をつけれればいいかなと思う。

⚪︎編集途中のファイルをiPhoneとiPadで共有できればいうと思う
（同じID間で共有できる）

I am giving a 1 star rating for not including a built in GPS In the new insta360 version 6. Don’t tell me I can buy the remote or use my phone - it’s not 1960, every electronic device has an integrated GPS these days. It’s appalling that you keep leaving the GPS out ‼️‼️‼️

カメラとして使いたい/バージョンアップで機能ダウン

起動すると広告画面が出てきたり、余計なワンクッションが入って「今すぐ取りたい！」に対応できない。カメラ機能がおまけの映像画像SNSアプリとなっている。
純粋にFlow2proのカメラアプリとして利用したい。すぐ起動して撮影に取りかかれないのは撮影アプリではない。

以下は前回レビュー。まだ解決していない。
Flow2Proで使用してます。2.27.1のバージョンにアップしたら、今までの設定が全部リセットされた。以前から左右追尾で被写体を見失うと左右に振れ幅が１度２度４度８度16度32度と行った感じで左右にブンブン首を振る現象があったが、バージョンアップ前と比べて、追尾性能が格段に下がり、正面2mの被写体が左右にゆらゆら揺れるだけで前述の挙動にすぐなってしまい、全く使えないものになってしまった。
プロフレーミンググリッドでテンキー8の位置を設定しても、だんだん7や9になってしまいフレームアウトしてしまう、これもバージョンアップしてこうなってしまい使い物にならない。
あとプロフレーミンググリッドは以前からダメな仕様として、縦でテンキー8に合わしたあと、右ダブルクリックでスマホを横にした時、縦の位置の8のままなので、横だと4の位置となり、上ではなく左を指定してしまう。全く使えない。「現在の画面の向きでどこに合わせている」という仕様にして欲しい

HRD videos won’t export in hdr

Paying for iCloud + service and for some reason all videos I export now won’t export with hdr. This problem started just recently and will fail to export in hdr even on older videos. Customer service has been a joke and I have yet to receive any updates through technical support or on twitter.
