Sorry I Asked!
About a month ago, I messaged customer service asking if they could send me a copy of my personal info. Briefly, I mentioned that I had been using their services for years for “business and personal” and that I had always been satisfied. The response I received was swift and impressive. My account was immediately canceled and a prorated refund issued. I was confused. After reading my email to them for a second and third time, I realized what had happened. I had used the word “business”. Oops. I sent short email the following day telling them that I had not meant “business” in the same way, and that I was using the term they way someone might say “none of your business”. I kept it short and professional. I received a reply from them the following day that thanked me for my appeal but after reviewing the issue, their decision would stand. Alright. Later that evening, I decided I should take the time to thoroughly explain myself. I wrote another email to them. I told them that my “business” was that I’m an artist and that I used the service to investigate potential galleries where my work would be stored for extended periods of time. I explained that it wasn’t an LLC, I didn’t employ anyone, and I wasn’t a paid professional in any way. I explained that I had simply misspoke and used a word that had more than one meaning. I told them I had read through their T&C’s and the Fair Credit Reporting Act and that I was not using instant checkmate in a way that breached the rules. I sent the email, hoping I had finally cleared things up. I got a reply the following Monday morning. They thanked me for providing more detail, but after further review, the decision was upheld. I really liked instant checkmate; that’s why I sent follow-up emails explaining myself rather than just subscribing to one of the other, arguably better, services available. I figured mistakes happen, the email robot had flagged the word “business” and acted, but a human would understand what had happened and everything would be corrected. I guess not. So, if you go with Instant Checkmate, you’ll be happy with the information their service provides, just don’t ever use the word “business” if you have to communicate with them. I suspect English is not their native tongue and they do not recognize the nuances of the language. Oh well. Lesson learned.

Not accurate
First off it I am not even coming up in the search. I have checked my maiden name and married name…..nothing!!
Garbage
Keeps saying WiFi not connected when I am indeed connected
Whack
They literally don’t tell you anything
Yep
Great app
Fun and Informative
I enjoy and recommend this platform if you’re an armchair detective, or just looking for your neighbor’s arsenal of weapons you’re sure they have. This is the spot!
Fun and Informative
I enjoy and recommend this platform if you’re an armchair detective, or just looking for your grandma’s maiden name. It’s definitely worthy of the membership investment.
My trusted source for info
I’ve used instant checkmate couple years now. Looking up a phone number and learning personal details about. Some making harassment calls. They don’t like it when they get a call back and use their name or birthdate even address the calls drop immediately and many other reasons I’ve keep my subscription active for over two years

Optional
Works ok
Don’t get it
Seriously listen to the reviews I see a lot of reviews saying it didn’t even work after they payed but I couldn’t even pay I’m a 14 year old girl trying to figure out her dads backstory because no one will tell me but I don’t have the money to pay for it nor would I pay for it if I could. So seriously it’s not worth it and it should be free for people who genuinely need to use the services

SCAM
I don’t recommend the subscription, the information is not accurate, I did a research on my own name and gives my wrong age. Also says it’s scanning for social media
Profiles and it doesn’t, if you google the person it will
Show a facebook account and on their report it even a public profile on facebook it was showing! Don’t bother! Waste of money and time

False advertising/ scam
I paid for the subscription, none of the features work. If i were to click unlock report now it will stay loading for an hour and wont open, pretty much a money grab, tried to ask for a refund they did not refund my money , i usually do not leave reviews but an app like this i had to and especially if there taking people hard earned money left and right like this , this had to be brought to light and resolved. Wish i could give it 0 stars. Horrible

Great company
Amazing service, easy to use and safe!
What a rip off!
This app is a joke! They have my husband at an address he hasn't been at for 13 years and with an ex from 2011! We have a home together and no information on that. Then my email shows my name but some WRONG phone number and an address out of state somewhere! No way to correct it or way to get a refund. Don't waste your money

Won’t allow one time check
Have to pay every month forever
Worthless information
The newest reports are from 2016 and older! The pins and addresses do not match. I lived here for 33 years, and they are all wrong. Outdated and inaccurate information. Not worth $35.00 a month!
Bad data
Used to be a good reliable platform for data. Helped me identify who stole my identity, but data integrity has gone way down.
Unlimited Reports ……of errors
Be warned if you decide to use your subscription outside of the app in a web browser i.e. safari or chrome, with cross site tracking prevent turned on, the site will return an error message and then repeatedly attempt to open the previously sent request over & over & over eventually leading to the account being permanently locked. I paid $30 and change for a month subscription that only lasted 4 days because of this dumb glitch. How can this app even be in the App Store if the parent site isn’t aware of such things & no, I’m not lowering my security settings for any of you who are already pilfering and selling data to the tune of billions of dollars. This is crap and so is your app.

My favorite app to find ppl’s contact info
This app is truly impressive, sure you get a wrong bit of info here and there but that’s pretty much impossible to avoid by the nature of this data and the myriad sources. It’s an incredible tool and I would be genuinely flummoxed if I had to lose it.
