I have learned to use this in the COVID crisis whilst teaching singing on Zoom.
I record accompaniments and send them as files to my students, attached to an email. Then they can practise to them and use them in the lesson, thus avoiding the time lag problem.
The filing system is easy to use too.

This app is made to instantly 1Touch open and start recording audio with no other intervention or hunting for tiny record buttons . It can play back the audio back with its built in player. Its kinda like a 1 touch solution when your under stress or in a hurry. You can mail the recording and open it on another device or computer or you can open or copy to whatever other app you have on the same device. If your going to be opening and listening to the recording over and over again common sense would tell you to send it to another app that does not create a new recording every time you open it... This app is meant to start recording the second you tap on the icon on the home screen. Its simple and fool proof.

This app is a scam
This app could not record any other apps. Do not buy. All it could do is record my voice and when i tried to record a geometry dash gameplay. It stopped recording. I paid 3 dollars for this app. Another rip off.

Great school app.
This is a great quality app that I use in the classroom to record music students and then instantly play back for them to hear on my Bluetooth sound system.
Sound quality is great and my students have learned to recognize the good vs. the bad.
Has made this aspect of teaching much easier and faster.

Great App, Excellent Customer Service
I have been using this app to record and loop ideas and affirmations and have recommended this app to many friends. Recently, the loop feature stopped working. I emailed the support team and had a response within minutes. A temporary solution was offered as an interim measure until the update which came out 4 days later. I honestly did not expect such a quick response and personable assistance. Well done Instant Rec! I cannot recommend you highly enough!

I needed an app that would let me capture audio through the mic port on my iPhone, because I wanted to record audio from an FM radio. I was able to rig up a connection from the handheld radio to my iPhone using an old cable I got with a Sony camcorder that had three connections at the end with the 1/8" jack. It was originally for video, plus stereo audio. Anyway, using this, plus a little attenuator adapter to bring the level from line level to mic level worked great. And Instant Recorder had the ability to record audio from that port, which I haven't found in any other app. So kudos to the devs. Thanks for a simple app that does exactly what I need!

Great for studying!!!
I've been using this successfully to memorize quotes for hsc. I find the loop option very useful. An idea to improve the app would be to have the option to play all or some selected fragments in a playlist (so I can do all my quotes in one night without having to change it)
No support
Need updated instruction on moving recordings to computer via itunes using most current version of ios and itunes for Windows. Two requests for help to developer yielded no response.

Great recording app. Used to be great to recording and thru a bit of maneuvering in I Tunes you could download recordings. Now with contacting the company and newer iTunes versions I can't figure out how to get large files off of my phone let alone the company to respond to my questions multiple times about how to do it. If I pay for your product you should offer support hence my star review! Contact me please! Check your email AGAIN. They are in the Netherlands so it's no wonder things take forever. Also I have had recordings just "quit" after a meeting and not know why but others record longer even though I have the space. What is going on here?!

Love this app for on-the-go audio recordings. Just tap to start and stop recording. Very easy to rename files. Logically designed.

Overall, good app, but here are a few critiques and requests: After I am finished reviewing a recording, it goes back to my list of recordings and does not highlight which one I just played, so it's always difficult to know which one to review next, esp if I have not labeled a recording yet. Also, how do you trim recordings? I agree that the "save" button could be a little larger and easier to hit.

Have used this app for two minutes. Has not screwed up yet, so far as I can tell. Bought pro to avoid ads. Hoping that posting this review will stop annoying pop-up. Really, if you want good reviews, you should not annoy customers with pop-ups!
