Great community!

I have really enjoyed meeting other military spouses and participating in both local and virtual events. So many great things here and user friendly!

Loving this app and the verified community - it’s nice to know for sure that the other people in the app are actually spouses and that I can speak a bit more candidly about the military spouse experience!

New to both apps

Some of these reviews seem pretty outdated, so far I’ve been impressed with both the job app and military spouse community app. I appreciate that SheerID is in place for the community!

App doesn’t work

After verified can’t get into app past verification keeps taking me through again and again and again tried contacting support and no luck.

Love that I can connect with other military spouses that get what I am going through! This is the best place to connect and find resources!

Frustrating

Can’t even sign up!! Once I Verify with ID.me it bounces back to the sign up page without letting me register. So frustrating! Deleting the app I’ll stick to INSTANT TEAMS

Hesitant to download… don’t be. Read my experience!

As a milspouse, I was a bit hesitant to put a lot of sensitive information in while completing the sign on process, HOWEVER, after doing a deep dive on both the companies I am 100% confident that my information in as safe as it can be. All of our service members have an ID.me account so this is no different. Better yet, the community INSIDE the app is freaking amazing! So glad I joined 12M+. This community is like no other and even our battalion commanders spouse is in here loving it!

Holy Privacy Concerns

Great concept but the permissions required are terrifying, especially to a community that lives by a SEC code. It’s going to track everything and then sell your details (probably) or lose them (even worse). There’s so many things they don’t need and it’s amazingly bad they put those permissions in there. Regular people don’t need to be tracked this much, much less the members of the military.

**update since there was a developer response about their ID.me verification. That isn’t my privacy concern. It’s my device data, purchases?, fine and coarse locations, etc. The signup process was extremely buggy and wrought with errors and then they add on an invasive privacy policy. I have zero trust that they aren’t selling my data or protecting it properly. It wasn’t a launch day issue - that’s not when I tried to use it. I won’t use it at this point either.

Ask for personal data!

Sounds like a cool app but must provide the service member’s full name, date of birth, and social security number! That’s so invasive for an app! Really nervous to put my information out there AND my spouse’s.

This app is amazing!! Where has this been all my life!? All the things for military spouses in one location helps make life so much easier. If you create a new ID.me account, log in is super easy!

Doesn’t Work

It’s frustrating to see other having the same experience as I am. Unable to sign up, keep receiving errors. The app sounds like a great idea but it appears it was tested before releasing to the public. Please fix the issues or at least provide a statement that you are aware of the issues and are working to get them fixed. Thank you.

Buggy Sign Up

I’ve gone through all the steps to get signed up but when ID.me verifies my identity and tries to bounce me back to the app to sign up I get a “Not Found” error.

Needs some work

Can’t open the app to even try on IOS. Went through the whole process to get error codes. After 2 days of trying I tried to report the error codes to the developer and I can’t get any path in.
