Used to love Instant Weather

I used the app all the time to make decisions on the farm. Now with the new update, there is way too many ads, the app lags as you scroll, and the radar page is almost unreadable anymore. Please go back to the last edition of this app!

Hi there! We've made a bunch of fixes and improvements to the new version of the app: 2.1.402 - Please download and give it another shot. We've added a text slider to the app to make the font size larger. Also, if you liked the old app, you can switch to it in the settings. Tap settings at the top left of the app, scroll down to the "Weather Display" section, then tap on "Updated" Weather Page Style and switch it to "Original". This brings back the old app style. Terrible

Loved using this app BEFORE the last update. Since then, it is painfully slow ! I mean like Windows 95 slow . Even with all animations off, it lags like AOL !

Update ruined a good weather app

The last update turned a good weather app into a glitchy, slow to stalling experience. Went through the settings to turn off animations but animations still present. Really dislike this updated experience.

Liked App before update

Minutes aren’t working . Don’t like new way it displays. Slow.

Minutes feature seems to be gone

Since the new update, there are times when the current weather displayed is not what’s actually happening there was a big thunderstorm the other day, but your app displayed to me that it was partly cloudy. So tried to find the minutes feature to tell me when the thunderstorm would be over, and the minutes feature that was always more accurate than everything else is now gone. I don’t know that this launch was thoroughly tested for functionality before it was released.

Hi there. The global data was incredibly expensive so we're looking at alternatives for it and processing it ourselves instead of purchasing it from a third party. The forecast data continues to work great world wide but the radar data is the tricky part. We're working on it, though! Thanks so much for your feedback, Kathy! Sincerely, - Adam

Was good until the update

Great weather app until it was updated. Now even if you switch back to the old format it’s slow, glitchy and frustrating to use.

The new layout is aesthetically pleasing and has potential but should have had the kinks worked out before launching.

Slow and choppy

I’ve used this app for a long time now but since it’s been updated it’s been awful. The minutes feature isn’t working and it’s just not as good anymore. I am now looking for another option.

Disappointing

Preferred the old Instant Weather app presentation to the new. I have to go looking for the wind speeds and all the weeks forecast was instantly there which is what I want to see first, not the forensics of the day hour by hour. Is there a way I can switch back to the old presentation?

Annoying ads that you can’t get rid of

Ive loved this app and the new layout is ok except that the ads block the hourly view and there is no mechanism to get rid of them. I’m happy to have ads of I don’t pay however when they really interfere with using the app I’ll be be up not using it anymore

Love the app. Rarely ever look at any other, but since the last update, it's really slow to load and choppy to move around in it.

New update is garbage

Updated app to new version and it’s garbage. Ex. What was easily available (hourly rain, wind etc) now is only available when clicking on each hour individually. Our jobs are weather dependant and planning projects was great when we could use the app to see all hourly info. What used to be a great app and our go-to app is now the same garbage as all the other weather apps. BRING BACK THE OLD FORMAT of the app

If it ain’t broke….

Thanks so much for ruining a fairly good thing. Now Instant Weather is much slower and the hourly forecast doesn’t work properly. Next time you’re thinking about updating the app…don’t bother.
