How did this app get on my phone?
Having a little difficulty getting rid of it.
Amazingly great!
I’ve used this app for many years, since it first came out. I can still even in 2025, transfer files between my iOS 4 devices to my current iOS 15 device with no issue. Love it, and love the fact it has amazinggggg old OS support, in a time when other devs don’t care about anyone with an older device. Instashare is here to the rescue! Thank you, you helped me transfer my long lost photos :) much love from USA 💚

A better Air Drop!
This is a better Air Drop than Apple’s! My default Downloads folder isn’t the default and in Air Drop that’s normally a problem. Instashare is rock solid and very configurable! Great utility.
Not Bluetooth discoverable since ios17 release

Doesn’t work. Unclear to what to do
So you selected images in this app and then there is no way to interact with them. There is no send share download or do anything with the images. Basically a dead app.
Windows app repeatedly crashes instantly. Im glad i chose to install demo instead of buying it.
This looks very outdated they demonstrate iphone 5s in the demo…. Either remove this junk or update apps.

InstaShare (had a different name at the time) used to be a phenomenal app.
It circumvented so many of the issues that popped-up when attempting to get anything off your PC or even Mac (and other Apple devices).
Now it’s just stuck.
It freezes, crashes, has ads (yea, that’s correct: pay again for something you already paid for just so you aren’t harassed by poop-up ads.
I digress.
What was once a fantastic app, an app I was thrilled to see available again, is a buffering nightmare that crashes, doesn’t open, can’t connect and ultimately just ‘spins’ at you.
Can’t recommend, unless you’re going for torture by app. In that case, this might be a good option for you.

Not good
Transferring photos from android to iPhone puts the photos in the Instashare app, you have to download the photos from the app to your camera roll one by one.
There’s an option to save photos to camera roll in settings, but it doesn’t work!

Potentially useful app but fails with unhelpful error
Trying to transfer between 9.3.6 5s and newer iPhone. Transfer fails with unhelpful, cryptic “Item transfer error Broken pipe Transfer state: 3”. With last update 2 years ago, seems to be abandonware. (:-( Transferred images have transfer date - no apparent option for (expected, preferable) original date.

Needed a way to transfer videos to big for email for my sons home schooling this did it perfectly.
Just have to ignore the google ads bottom of screen.

I downloaded it and saw the reviews before I downloaded this app but when I wanted to send something, all it found was deleted stuff. I have a YouTube channel and need to post this today, January 10,2021,and I use the app iMovie, so for any of my fellow YouTubers and bloggers/vloggers, do not use this app. Use this app at YOUR OWN RISK. Totally wasted my time and space on my iPhone.
