Works fine but bad permissions

I refuse to believe that I absolutely have to give full access to all photos in order to save photos…. Seeing as how literally every other app works without full permission. 3 stars deducted simply for that.

Recent changes makes me give low rating to this app

Previously, it was possible to easily share the animated photos taken with Instax Pal directly from the app. Recently, however, the app now requires attempting to “print” the image and then downloading it via a QR code. Unfortunately, the QR code consistently leads to an error page and does not allow access to or sharing of the animation.

Because Instax Pal is designed as a camera that connects directly to a phone for quick and easy sharing, this change significantly reduces its usefulness. Not being able to share animated photos defeats one of the main purposes of the device.

Could you please let me know:

* Whether this is a known bug that will be fixed in a future update, or
* If this functionality has been intentionally removed

I would really appreciate clarification, as well as any guidance on how to restore proper sharing functionality.

Best purchase ever.

If you want to be able to print pictures… not only can you print from your phone. You can also take pictures using the app. Using the remote option is awesome.

Love the camera but haven’t been able to print because I have the evo WIDE and it’s not listed as an available option :( that’s the only reason it’s getting 3 stars

My little pal is the best!

Don’t get one of these expecting miracles and top notch photos - get one if the idea of a digital Polaroid disposable gives you fizz. It can hold up to 50 photos at a time and once transferred to your phone they are deleted off the camera! It couldn’t be simpler!!! Snap snap snap and transfer takes 15 seconds per photo, minimize the app, keep snapping, what fun can be had with this tiny little guy! AND you can use the app to remote snap so getting a group photo is easy as cake! Couldn’t recommend the little pal any more :)

Great fun

Great fun little camera and app to break creative blocks and just have a good time. The app is good and fine tunes the camera preferences while keeping the camera itself minimal with buttons which I really appreciate.
There are 2 things that would make the app more enjoyable to use:

1) Basic everyday settings such as flash on/off and exposure compensation are way too deep under several menus to get to, and would be less messing about when out and about and you just need your tweak it for different situations where the exposure is wrong etc. Really there could do with a little icon on the main page for these tweaks that you regularly may want to tweak.
2) The addition of being able to add text on the image is fun, but it would be also nice to be able to move the text box onto the white part of the instax frame at the bottom for sharing with friends etc.

Very fun

Although there isnt a (proper) viewfinder, the camera is very fun to use, and its REALLY portable. Also, the battery can last a fairly long time. Good product!

Basic

It works but can be improved for sure. Selecting photos one by one is a burden. Swiping over the photos and selecting would be great feature. After selecting photos and downloading on your phone, they all automatically get deselected so you have to select all again if you wanna erase them from the app memory. Select all/deselect all option is needed. Remote shooting is sluggish.

Need to transfer higher res file

For the price of this camera, the digital image quality needs to be better. The wireless transfer app needs to transfer the full resolution (as you can get manually through the sd card) not just some low res copy. It should be a toggle so those who value quality can deal with the longer transfer times.
