I like it so far

I like that this app gives you the option to set goals. It helps me forecast my practice so nothing is missed. The recording feature is nice too. One thing the developers should add is a widget with a weekly practice tracker. That would push me to subscribe.

Exceptional

The only logging app worth a d*mn

Waste of time.

This app is not intuitive in the slightest. It is way more of a waste of time. Your time is better spent actually practicing.

Good app but doesn’t consistently work

Great app for tracking practice sessions when have a large number of pieces one is working on. HOWEVER, app goes down for a couple days every month and is nonfunctional. one gets a blank screen and can’t look up prior data or even pieces that one is working on. If this were fixed I would give it a 5. But this issue disrupts tracking so I am giving it a 2 and will sadly need to discontinue my subscription.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. This isn't an issue we have seen before. It would be great if you could email us at support@stonekick.com with more information on this and we will look into it.

Immensely Helpful

I’ve tried most music related apps including several practice journals. For my purposes, this is the best by a mile. I like being able to quickly see how much practice I’ve done in a week or a month. The streaks help keep me motivated.

My only ask would be to have some way to make short journal entries. Something to “write on” other than the notes inside a specific activity.

Great for tracking your practice.

The app does a good job of tracking my practice time (piano). It has just enough features to make it worthwhile and it does them well. I like it better than Modacity.
I had to run a couple of test practices to see exactly how it records sessions but after that it worked great for me.

Love the reminder and goals feature

I must say i love being reminded to practice as i have so much fun when i make time to play. The app helps remind me of the joy of playing easy cornet songs and drills. The goal of playing a few times a week ( and being reminded each day) is perfect for the busy adult/ dad/ husband/ business owner with 1 wife, 3 kids, 3 cats and 2 dogs and 1 million responsibilities to make a few minutes to chill out and relax. Love the app. Life saver!

Works well so far

App works well so far for me, and I like that I can export my data too, which some competitor apps don’t allow.

The layout could be better — it’s not the prettiest thing to look at, and I don’t know why I have to push start on 2 separate screens to get started. But these are minor things. The app is solid and does what it says it’ll do, and I recommend it.

The negative reviews from others seem to be mostly objections to the price, not complaints about the app itself. Price seems fine to me.

False promises.

Was told that they would send me an email when my free trial was about to end. Worked fine, but not good for my purposes. They did not send me a reminder and it costed me $18 for an app I won’t use. False promises and an overexpensive app.

Quirky but Amazing !

The interface is a bit non intuitive and takes a little time to learn but the functionality is really great for tracking tasks and time over many areas

Won’t delete the trial

I don’t wish to continue with the trial but it won’t delete. It sends me around and around in circles. So I expect I’ll be charged in a months time?

Love it!

I’ve been using this app for close to two years to track my piano practice. It just gets better and better as the developers add new features. The latest heat map feature is fantastic!
Easily one of the most valuable apps I have on my phone and piano practice just wouldn’t be the same without it.

Might be good

This app might be good, but it costs money to use, which isn’t made apparent before you download it

Subscription service, not an app

Open and takes you to a page to create a paid account. Useless.

It’s not free

You only get a moth free, then you have to pay.

Just what I have been looking for

Ever since my last music practice app failed to update to iOS 13 I have been looking for a replacement and this looks like it is it! Only been using it for a day but it seems to do everything I want. Will update my rating in a few weeks.
