Great when it works.
Suddenly frequently getting message ‘The system is in use. Retry later’ - when it is not in use. Frustrating. Have tried reinstalling app and turning the whole system on and off. Mashes no difference. Then with no rhyme or reason it starts working again. So cannot go out without telecommande and no use if trying to monitor from a distance. Bug fix please!

Worst doorbell app ever!
Terrible app! Only works 10% of the time. Always glitches. Doesn’t connect to the doorbell most of the time. Do not buy anything that requires this app! Terrible.

Cannot get iphone to connect. This is a disgraceful app and I will never buy or recommend Aiphone. A truly shocking user experience. Even trying to use the console directly is clunky. To call it a piece of junk would be an understatement
Rubbish
The slowest clunkiest app to open a gate or speak with intercom. Constantly says system in use when it’s not. I can wait 10min outside my house trying to make it connect. It doesn’t tell you the switch position to whether gate is open or close when using it remotely. You can’t tell if it’s worked or playing its usual games.

Horrible doorbell app
If you have more than one person with app answering the door, it gets confused and you can’t access camera or open door.

Newest update broke functionality
The update that was just released in March 2026 has broken the app for me. I was not receiving any notifications of people ringing the doorbell at all after the update.
I tried to troubleshoot by removing my profile from the base station and re-adding it, but it times out every time I attempt to add the profile and I’ve tried it like 4 different times.

No longer registers with system
App was registered and working well. Since the latest AIPhone update on the intercom it no longer calls through to the app.
Deleted app and removed registration from system and now it won’t register any apps. Full system reset and still apps unable to register the app.

Not working with iOS 26.4
After updating to iOS 26.4, the app reset to a fresh install. I removed the registered app from the station. Now can’t add the new app install the station.
Disappointing
The system utterly unreliable, he works half of the time, the app is not kept up-to-date to be compatible with the latest operating systems, sometimes it drops the users for no reason, at least an apparent reason.
Remote access control
We have been using Aiphone to open our gate for deliveries for more than 5 years. It is reliable and reassuring. With Aiphone, we can open and relock our gate from miles away to protect deliveries.

I’m certain no one is working on this app, and maybe never will. By far the worst thing I’ve ever used on iOS.

Constantly have trouble connecting with my phone when someone rings the doorbell. Might be user error.

Terrible app it needs to be updated. It takes to too long for it to open, when it does open. Sometimes it freezes and I’ll have to delete the whole app and download it back.

Update 11December 2025 : even closing the app totally doesn’t make this really bad app work. We have to use our key to enter our yard. No response from developers or the company that recommences pathetic security system.

The app is also VERY SLOW to respond to even answer when the monitor is activated. We’ve only had this for a week and am sick of it. Even on our wifi which is 1000 mbps download speed the app is so slow to respond that visitors have almost walked away.
When will these bugs be fixed and a more sophisticated app released?

It’s the only option and that option isn’t great.
It is very slow to react. There was zero instruction. It’s not intuitive to use. I’m just guessing what buttons mean. It works less than half the time.
