International Guitar Chords LE User Reviews

Top reviews

I am very glad that such an app has appeared in my life.

This app for learning electric guitar is a real gem! It's so cute and easy to use, helped me master new melodies and playing techniques. Very grateful to the creators for such a wonderful experience!

Potentially useful

This is a very nice concept indeed. Yet I could not follow the notation, and the app has no detailed explanation. I contacted developers and support but received no answers.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback! This program was not originally designed to introduce scales. It is intended only for learning the chords themselves (notes, degrees and variations)! If you are interested in chord-scales, modes, that fit certain chords, then this is implemented in Conceptual Guitar Chord-Scales and Guitar Modes Symmetry School! You can also see which scale or mode fits together in the Open String Guitar Chords app! If you have any questions about these programs, please write to the website - https://www.fonexsis.com/ for the corresponding product. Sincerely, Fonexsis

Not that great

Finesses' music apps are crazy expensive, so I was glad to see they provided a few free LE versions like this one so I could try them out. I'm frankly not impressed with this one enough to consider shelling out $26 for any of their full featured apps. The info says this is just missing 300+ cards from the paid version. If that's true, there are not any features here to get excited about or to justify the high price of their apps. It's just a basic chord viewer that lets you strum the strings to hear the chord, or play the notes one by one. The chords were not arranged in any way that let me search them easily (or else the UI is so bad, I couldn't find the way I do it). Chord Bank is a much better app.

Excellent app

Im a beginner guitar player and this app give many options of chords positions. Yeahhhh.

Not quite right

It looked great at first. This dev is on the right path with the visual layout, the ability to see which notes are in a chord but the glitchy behaviour was a turnoff. Try to see a simple open G chord and it would jump to another chord. Also when it did display a chord, it would not show the most common one. Confusing. Fix theses things and it will be more appealing.

chords

very nice, easy to use

Great tool

Works very good and is useful

Intrusive and useless

One of those annoying add-filled apps you delete in the first five minutes. Don't bother.

awesome!!

the best chord dictionary on my ipod touch!

This is actually a pretty cool little app!

Cleverly engineered, with a study layout I've never seen before. This is HONESTLY the best piece of software I've seen on the subject of chord theory. Great app Fonexis! Thanks for all the hard work!

guitar chords le 1.2 good practise app

this is a very easy to use and well designed app to practise guitar chords. The transpose feature is really good to drag chords up/down neck to help your learning. On the free demo fyi chords 1-6 dur are major chords and chords 7-13 moll are minor chords.
I have emailed fonexsis to se if they can code for left handers like me to invert the fretboard which they say they will do :) would be a 5 star app with this function built in.
Give this app a try and i think you will enjoy the step through and transpose features.

Great Apps but the Paid Versions are EXPENSIVE

I'd buy every one of these apps for both bass and guitar if they weren't so bloody expensive. Once you figure out how it all works it's brilliantly well done and very useful. But I've never seen such pricey apps for guitar and bass.
