About

Interop Ready supports coordinated incident operations for emergency management organizations, public-safety agencies, healthcare facilities, response teams, and authorized field personnel. Approved users can join active incidents and access the operational information assigned to them. Field personnel can check in, report their status, share their operational location, receive tasks and messages, submit field reports and media, and review incident information from their mobile device. Key capabilities include: • Incident check-in and accountability • Live field-unit positions and breadcrumb trails • Background location updates during active check-in • Assigned tasks, navigation assistance, and arrival reporting • Incident messages and priority notifications • Operational-period information and briefings • Field reports, media uploads, and map markers • Weather, radar, facilities, hazards, and situational map layers • Offline queuing for supported field updates when connectivity is interrupted • Integration with the broader Interop Ready incident-management platform Location tracking begins only after an authorized user checks in and stops when the user checks out. Continued background location access helps incident command maintain accountability when the app is not actively displayed. Interop Ready requires an approved organizational account and access to an active incident. Features and available information may vary according to the user’s organization, incident assignment, permissions, and connected services. Interop Ready is an operational coordination tool. It does not replace 911, official emergency alerts, agency procedures, radio communications, or established command protocols.
