User reviews

Pretty good - minor changes needed

Ahoy! I’d love for this app to tell me what the interval is when I guess correctly. It just jumped to the next interval without telling me.

Response from developer

Thanks for the great feedback! I will be sure to implement your excellent suggestion in first big update (hopefully in April). Currently, it does tell you what interval you played if you play incorrectly (as well as telling you what the correct interval should be, if you have “hints” turned on in settings). But I can see your point that it would be nice to visually see correct feedback of each interval’s name immediately after identifying correctly. I’ll work to update this in coming month. Thanks for your feedback and I appreciate you supporting and playing the game!

Interval Climber

I am not much of a musician, but my grandchildren are and they loved playing this game. It is challenging, I think, so definitely have young ones start with practice round. My grandchildren are only allowed educational games and this one was fun for them. I love how the sloth cries tears if he loses. Cute!

Strengthens music theory intuition

During short breaks in my daily routine, playing Interval Climber has helped sharpen my moves around the keyboard. Definitely challenging on the higher difficulty settings even for intermediate to advanced players. This game has helped my jazz improv. skills in keeping pace with the combo!
