AWESOME!!!!!!

Great app and a suggestion

A really nice app. I hope this app can add a feature where you can fix the first note, so we can practice all the intervals for one note at a time.

Very good

Best app ever

I just love it so much and I am getting so good at ear training now!

Nice keyboard

Keyboard is very useful for transcribing music

Worth it

It’s making me do what I needed to do years ago

Great resource for musicians

Great resource for practicing your interval training, which is awesome for learning to play music by ear. Fun to use too!

Great app, but one possible improvement

It’s a very unique app in using the keyboard for the ear training. It would be even better if you could customize the intervals being tested (major only, minor or both, only 2nd, 3rd, tritone etc)

Great practice tool

Does random intervals both up and down to train your ear for identifying them.

The extra clicks

Basically i really like it. BUT, omg the extra clicks needed!

Since the message telling u if you were right/wrong makes you dismiss it.... the next interval should AUTO PLAY, so the user doesn’t have to click again. So many clicks gets tedious. And dismissing the message can be seen as hitting the play button, since effectively it is a pause.

Keep the replay button, though, that’s nice. Just make the intervals autoplay.

(Ideally let the popup only display for one second or so, but being dismissible as well.)

Easy!

This is really easy to use and I teach in a small classroom and have recommended to all my students :-) not too sure at this point if there is an upgraded version that includes shops and flats? Would love to know! Many thanks debbie driver fretboard warriors.com

Well designed app

Great for keeping a running percentage success score so you can track your improvement day by day. Simple, intuitive and glitch-free. Thanks.

Amazing little app for amateur musicians

This app is great for becoming more familiar with intervals, which is one of the most valuable skills for anyone leaning music. It is fun to play and satisfying to master. I always choose this over some mobile game when I have nothing to do but a phone and access to sound, as it is just as enjoyable as a game if you are into music. Even if you just want to mess around with the keyboard, this app is perfect and enjoyable for any wannabe musician and I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that you cannot set it to play every interval from the same tonic, since it can be hard to get your eat to switch between keys so frequently.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the review! You described my goal perfectly – to make this app as enjoyable as a game if you are into music. In a sense, it is a game... but it's certainly not a waste of time :) Your suggestion about having the interval start from the same tonic is interesting. I'll consider that for future development. Cheers!

Great but simple

It does a really good job at what it does, but it would be nice if it had some more customizeable features, like being able to play the notes at the same time.

very nice

Quite a nice and simple app for interval recognition .

Very good exercise

I can see the improvement I made just exercising with this app.

Free and simple.

Who could complain?

A good app

I’m trying not to get my frustration with learning to recognize intervals confused with the effectiveness of the app. It’s a very good learning tool!

Very good

I feel obliged to write a review because it serves the purpose really well, although user interface could be improved. Also, it’d be nice if there is an option to disable unison among all the intervals because it’s so annoying.

Great app

Great app. Simple, easy to use, and has everything you need.
