Thanks for the review! Interesting suggestion... I'll consider that for a future update.

Best app ever
Nice keyboard
Perfecto
Worth it
Great resource for musicians
Great app, but one possible improvement
Response from developer
Thanks for the suggestion – I'll consider that for future development. My main concern is that I want the app to stay simple and not become overwhelming with options. The purpose of the app is to learn how to play by ear – so the app plays random notes within the selected keyboard range. If you choose a small range such as "C, D, E" then you'll only have "Unison", "Major 2nd", and "Major 3rd" as possibilities. If you increase the range to "C, D, E, F" then you'll add "Minor 2nd", "Minor 3rd", and "Perfect 4th" as possibilities.
Great practice tool
The extra clicks
Since the message telling u if you were right/wrong makes you dismiss it.... the next interval should AUTO PLAY, so the user doesn’t have to click again. So many clicks gets tedious. And dismissing the message can be seen as hitting the play button, since effectively it is a pause.
Keep the replay button, though, that’s nice. Just make the intervals autoplay.
(Ideally let the popup only display for one second or so, but being dismissible as well.)

I've added a setting called "Autoplay" – you can turn it on if you want the next interval to play immediately when you are finished :) Some users like to play around on the keyboard between questions, that's why I've made "Autoplay" optional. If you find the pop-up annoying, you can set "Feedback" to "Never" to stop all pop-up messages. Alternatively you can set "Feedback" to "Wrong" if you only want pop-up messages for incorrect intervals. Good to hear you like the replay button! I really appreciate your opinion as a UI/UX designer. I'll consider making the feedback dismiss itself after one second or so... my main concern would be that people read at different speeds, so users may be frustrated that the feedback is displayed too briefly or too long for their reading speed.
Easy!
Well designed app
Amazing little app for amateur musicians

Thanks so much for the review! You described my goal perfectly – to make this app as enjoyable as a game if you are into music. In a sense, it is a game... but it's certainly not a waste of time :) Your suggestion about having the interval start from the same tonic is interesting. I'll consider that for future development. Cheers!
Great but simple
Response from developer
Thanks for your review! I've added more customizable features via an upgrade option for Pro Settings which includes 13 major scales and difficulty options including "Diatonic", "Random Tonic" and "Chromatic". Pro Settings also allow you to modify the "Length" of the question to be up to 6 notes – so you can play "melodies" by ear. I appreciate your suggestion, but I haven't added the option to play the notes simultaneously – the design of the app is not suited for this.
very nice
Very good exercise
Free and simple.
A good app

Thanks for the review! If you're a beginner, I recommend setting the keyboard range to one octave or less using the + and - keyboard range control. Keep practicing, and as you progress you'll want to make the range larger :)
Very good

As you requested, I've added the option to disable unison intervals :) Simply go to the settings and turn off "Allow Unison". Thanks so much for the review!
