Excellent but suppressed
I have left a review for this excellent app before but Apple are clearly suppressing the app and any positive reviews. It is a fantastic resource for unbiased news but I fear it is too much for those in power to allow. Definitely support it for informed and fact checked news.

Extremely reliable evidence based news
All headlines include both “evidence” and “sources” sections, many of which are backed by several .gov pages. Great way to get accurate information without digging to fact check.
Watchdog Journalism
I enjoy the objectivity in the news displayed along with credible sources and evidence which is absolutely phenomenal. This is by far the most trust worthy source of news I’ve come across especially in today’s age of misinformation.
Great start
I am an avid news reader and this is a great first start to news aggregation. I do think there some features like the ability to have lists, more variety in the types of news it holds (aka not just political) and maybe having comments and discussions could improve the user experience. Also having the ability to have an API call (unless I missed it) so this can be incorporated into whatever platform someone needs to stay current will be useful. Either way, happy to see where it goes.

Apple ID required
Considering many of us are now wary of the larger tech companies, Apple included, I wish there was a way to sign into this app without an Apple ID. I will point out that it also excludes a huge group of people who don’t use Apple product. If anybody else knows of a way to use this app without an Apple ID, please let me know. I will change my review.

This app delivers important news with clear links to evidence, while countering omissions and silencing by corporate media, by highlighting verified information being suppressed everywhere else
Critical for modern media literacy
I have never seen a news aggregator that does such a transparent job of contextualizing the story within the media landscape. In an era of algorithms, shadow banning, and fully bought and paid for legacy media, tools like Interval are key for savvy news readers.
Easy to digest
Interval News breaks down world events into easily digestible pieces, presenting the evidence and sources for readers to do their own further investigation. I appreciate the meter showing how much coverage each topic is receiving.
Best news app I’ve ever seen!
I can’t live without this app anymore. It’s been so helpful in making me feel truly informed without being completely overwhelmed. The ability to see suppressed news has made me more confident leaving social media for longer time periods and creating healthier habits. As a librarian, I’m in LOVE with the evidence and sources sections. This app is what our news SHOULD look like!

Most reliable source for news

My first news subscription in years
The coverage has been excellent and continues to improve. The app runs smoothly and intuitively, and the recent updates seemed to improve functionality too. I’m excited about this news source and ready to share it with my friends. The gauge of news coverage suppression is an excellent feature!
Good but a few fixes are needed
Love how the UI for the app is set up and this generally a reliable news source but one thing I’d say is to change the way the subscription is, instead of making it where you need to pay for articles you should instead add ads or allow a certain amount of daily articles you can read and you buy a subscription to access more(?). Just a suggestion but great app overall!

I always support free speech, and everyone should be well informed, but free speech is not free speech when you have to pay for it
No Features Unless You Pay
There is literally nothing on this app unless you pay for a subscription. No free articles, nothing. No try before you buy things at all. It could probably be a cool app, might be worth buying even, but few people will ever know because there’s no way to trial it for free. All you get are some headlines, which are supposedly “suppressed” but still front page on CNN. 🤷🏽♀️
