Fantastic App!
This is the best app for checking intonation and also includes a tuner. It’s going to make your life so much easier. It has a clean interface and you can just play and analyze your playing later (paid version), instead of having to play and having to constantly look at a tuner with one eye, to see if your note is in tune.

So helpful
I am so glad this app exists! It’s helped me with my violin intonation so much. Thank you for creating it!
Great tool!
I think the letter on the left can be coloured instead of white to make it easier for students to see.
Not working after updating to iPadOS 16 6.1
Before updating, the app just worked perfectly. However, I can’t record anything and it doesn’t display any pitches after updating to iPadOS 16.6.1. Please fix the bug!
Super helpful for beginner cello player
I’m so glad I found this app.
As a beginner cello player I am struggling with intonation a lot and I was practicing intonation a lot in isolation and was never happy with results.
Analysing recordings, I was surprised to find out I am playing relatively in tune and "bad sound" comes mainly from bowing and overall technique, rather than intonation

Love it. I never practice without it
I love how simple it is to use. No ads and it works just as advertised. Perfection
Amazing
This app is exactly what I was looking for. It’s very simple and has no unnecessary features or ads, which says a lot about the developers. Changing keys is easy and it reads audio almost instantaneously. It also shows note duration so you can visually see whether your rhythm is even and consistent.
It is worth mentioning that, at least from my experience, it works best for stringed instruments, specifically bowed string instruments. It’ll only pick up specs of a piano or guitar, for example, but that’s fine since those instruments don’t have to worry about intonation. It may work for brass and woodwind instruments but I can’t say. The fact that it only solidly registers my violin has actually come in handy since any background noise is not an issue.

Brilliantly effective!
This app not only showed me why my playing didn’t sound so great, but also how terribly uneven my vibrato was. After using this for about six months, my playing is much more in tune, and my vibrato is coming along.
As a calligraphic artist, I especially enjoy the way the internation line looks like a brush stroke. When it’s in tune and the vibrato is steady, it’s a work of art. When it’s out of tune and you have a lot of bow noise and your finger isn’t quite contacting the fingerboard, it looks as terrible as it sounds!
Love it. It is truly an inspired app.

Great app and glad to see it has an iOS version.
I used this app a few years back on my Mac Laptop. It worked great then and works even better now as I did not always have my Mac in my studio. It is so convenient and easy to use.
I couple it with using a drone on my tuner to play scales and passages and it is instant in tracking my pitch. It works really well with double bass and with the simple change in range adjustment in the settings, it captures C1 perfectly. You can save your files or delete right away. Great for recording a passage or complete piece and then looking at the file visually it really helps you to hear the pitch issues as it visually shows you as well.
Works on my iphone as well as my iPads and laptop, so I no longer have an excuse for really zeroing in on my timing and shifts. Thanks Jerry for developing the iOS and droid versions.

Exactly what I needed
Beth Blackerby of violinlab.com recommended this app as a tool for checking intonation. It has been very useful in helping me to learn correct finger placement and I definitely feel that it has made a big difference in helping me to more quickly develop muscle memory on the fingerboard.
Best music app to improve your intonation
This is one of the most useful tools that helps me train and get better. I truly think it’s a must to get better intonation.
I hope the developer can allow free scrolling during replays of recording. So to explain this better, I sometimes zoom in to a specific part and replay it, and the app immediately centralizes the view and zooms out which is annoying. I would like to zoom in and out anywhere and replay without changing the view. Hope I explained it well. Also please support choosing a section (making brackets) and loop replay that part, it comes in handy sometimes.
Thank you!!

Great app
This is brilliant . As a violin maker I recommend.
Great app
Really helpful and well designed. Only gripe is that it makes my phone run very hot. I wish there was a function to ‘listen’ without recording so that it is less battery intensive.
Very clever design.
Flexible and easy to use. Instant response and stable performance.
It is wiseful to upgrade to Pro version.

Terrific App!
I used the Mac desktop version of intonia years ago to work on my intonation (on fiddle). I just got the newly released iPhone version, which is even better than I remember the desktop version being because it allows you to import music files (even from cloud servers, like Google Drive). This is a fantastic feature for transcribing recordings because you can see all the note pitches in real time as the music plays.

Superb tuner and intonation checker
I’ve had the Android version of Intonia for several years and find it incredibly useful. Working with a traditional tuner I can see what’s happening now, but I can’t see trends over time. With Intonia I can record as I play and then look back on the recording to see if there are particular notes that tend to be sharp or flat. I am thrilled that there is finally an iOS version!
