Is the App dead?
This app only work 50% of the time. Now it is completely dead. Any suggestions would be great. I not able to monitor my spa on the rental property.

Died with iOS 14.2.
Seems to have now died altogether. Any suggestions? Can’t access the spa because the app crashes immediately on start up now

Terrible
Very buggy. Crashes constantly. Only works when you are on the network the spa is on. Basically worthless. The entire point of this PAID app to allow you to access the spa off the network. I’m wondering if this isn’t a scam.

Good day, The status LED on your module should be blue, allowing access from anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection. If the LED is green, then it can't communicate with our server. Contact us at techsupport@geckoal.com and we'll give you a few tips to bypass your firewall and allow communication with our server. This is bad ! I paid $$$ for the ability to use it
I paid a lot to have this feature on my spa. And it doesn’t work
95% of the time dose not work
This is a great idea if it ever works. Have the spa since last fall 2016.. for months the spa couldn't even maintain the connection with the router located 15' away form it. 6 months later... and a hand full of calls to the authorized dealer and now it connects but the app doesn't work. Not even the world version.
Looks like they need a lot of work to make it functional :(

Worked for 6 days
Give my money back or fix the app. Expensive addition to my spa that doesn't work.
Publicity in app sucks!!!
Good app but they should remove flashing advertising.. very annoying !!!
Needs some updating
It works now, most of the time, but I wish they would improve the app, add features, and I wish they had an IFTTT channel.

The temp adjustment seems finicky at times depending what device I'm on.
I wish they'd actually have a winter setting on here as that's really the sole purpose for buying the device and app. Also I wish there was a way to turn the filter on for a set period of time (TIMER) and not schedule it like letting it filter and circulate chemicals then getting your electric bill a few weeks later and 💩!
Lastly the WiFi connection does work for the remote app..

Do not buy this app
Requires you to be on the same wifi network. They basically lied about this. false advertising! Get the free home edition.

Don't waste your money!
Finally got this up and running with a wifi range extender for a grand total of $530, and it still only works half the time. Useless for what I bought it for because it is so unreliable!
Disappointed
I just purchased a spa with the in touch. After one week the app stopped working. Tech support could not help me since I was not in front of the spa. I am nine hours away from my rental. I wish that I would have saved my money.

- terrible wifi range even after I installed another wifi router closer to spa.
- you'd think with a paid version of app it would allow email notifications /alerts if spa temp goes below setting etc. no such features ...just basic turn off /on light and temp control (and that doesn't always work !)..
Pretty dated app that is in need of major overhaul with less bells and whistles and more actual useful features.
I hope someone from Gecko is reading reviews ...

Basic unstable app
First, it s a shame that I had to pay 5$ to get the world edition when I already spent 250$ to buy the in touch module. This app is unstable and crash quite often. It will connect 50% of the time with my spa. The app is so basic, so many featured are missing... they should have maximised it....ex: I can control my 2 water pumps but not my blower...was is that hard to add a button for the blower? They should also add an alert if the water temperature of the spa goes down under 96 degrees...this could make us save a disaster... There no such features... I regret buying this app and the in'touch.

Great app
I have to be honest I was a bit skeptical as the app was not working well with my iOS 9 iPhone at first , but since updating to 9.2 it works flawlessly , love it, nice to change settings at work, change filter programs, temperature, even turn on or off jet pump and blower from any where in the world

Crashing
Just purchased this app for my HYDROPOOL hot tub. It keeps crashing at launch. Need a software upgrade to run.
In.touch and the app are junk
This app doesn't work at all with iOS 9, and honestly, didn't work as intended with prior versions. If you use a Cisco router or ASA, forget it. Gecko has no clue on what ports and protocols these devices use. The in.touch never stays connected to the wifi and I am using commercial access points with about 10 other devices connected with no issues. The in.touch uses really old technology, don't waste your time or money on the in.touch unit, or the app. Both are junk.
