Needs fixed
Works decent with Bluetooth, but mainly got it for taking the kids to the drive in movies. This app loses its mind when you go to the FM input and hops back and forth in frequency and I have to force close the app and only use the buttons on the speaker. If you are in FM and have something playing and then open the app again, it once again loses it and hops back and forth from the bottom frequency to like 90.3 and back and forth over and over until you force close the app again and manually change the channel back.

What happened?
I had ZERO ISSUES with the app. i could change the volume, change the lights, track, all
from the app nonissue. Today - i can only change the volume. nothing else works! whatever bugs you fixed - caused a new one. i going to uninstall

Great product but needs some tweaks
Great product but the eq in the app needs improved to have 5-7 bands to remove the plastic box resonance. Need to eq those frequencies out. Also, has some connectivity issues.
Cant change led
Locked to fire and wont change. Can i use them without this app?
Doesn’t work
Tried to connect this to my ion tailgater, used both apps and still didn’t work.
Where’s Support?
I love the Tailgater speaker. Just bought my second. I’m bummed that I can’t edit device names in the app. No way to tell them apart on the device list. And I can’t ask support because the contact link on their site doesn’t work.

Well sadly I must agree with all of the negative input this app has RECEIVED, but let me save you all the time and frustration that I just went through! Put simply if you are a voice over user DO NOT download or install this app as you will find it almost completely useless. Plus it is a buggy thing that will totally Jack your speakers! I'm glad the speakers themselves are so GREAT! I really like them it is a good thing also that you really don't need this app cause it's a dawg!!!!!!! that's an insult to DAWGS!! I will go further and say the customer service I did not receive was some of the WORST I've never got! I think I'd have an easier time gaining an audience with the Wizard of ozz! Again the speakers are great but they need to FIRE their customer service and devolopment teams and hire some folks know what they about, while they still have a business because people are going to put up with that for about 10 seconds, before they take their business elsewhere, so take heed ION!

I try to change the pattern of lights or the color and it wont change. Like whats the point of this app

Locks you out of the app completely if you don’t turn on location services. Crazy breach of privacy.
Cannot re-pair in stereo after using ION app
I am returning these speakers to Costco as defective.
I’ve been using the Luma Duo speakers and recently installed the ION Sound Control app to enhance the experience. Unfortunately, I ran into a frustrating issue: after installing the app, my speakers stopped connecting via Bluetooth unless I manually reset and re-pair them. It seems the app interferes with standard Bluetooth pairing, which isn’t clearly explained in the setup process.
• Seamless Bluetooth integration between the app and speakers
• Clearer in-app instructions or prompts for pairing
• A firmware update to prevent connection conflicts
The speakers themselves are great, and I’d like to keep using them with the app — but the current setup makes it more complicated than it should be.

Why does your app need to use my location.?
sounds like your app is breaching my privacy rights..
Your app wants location services enabled, yet there is no setting to enable location services..
Your app has become complete garbage and is no longer usable and stuck on bluetooth settings page with no option to access location.. thanks but no thanks, i’ll be throwing away this speaker

Update!!!
This app needs to be updated and refreshed. The app is great but it needs to be updated and refreshed. Connection between devices needs to be updates. Whenever i try using the app to connect to my speaker it completely distorts the audio and will not go away until i force close the app.

What’s the point of this
Wont let me do anything other than volume. Can’t change the lights or anything else.. now I’m stuck on one light function and can’t even manually change on speaker its self..
Good speaker, irritating app
While I wish the sound quality was a little bit better, it is good for the kind of speaker I wanted. Awesome for camping!
However. Your guys’ app needs work. Setup process wasn’t seamless like i expected. Connection issues and the colors not changing until I disconnected multiple times. Fix the app and you’ve got a good setup.

Does all I need it to do which is turn the unit on and off from my phone without having to bend over and do it from the rock directly. No issues.
