Thinking outside of the box!!!
This app is excellent for creating particle VFX right on your iPad. It’s virtually limitless. It lets you take screenshots, but if you want video of your creations you have to record your screen. It’s too bad the developer stopped updating on this amazing software. I’d love to see where this could go as far as a pro tool for iPad VFX creation. It’s far more than entertaining.

I was looking for a way to add motion to a series of static I,ages and found this. Just: wow! It took me too long to realise that you can hide the emitters and control bar menu by hitting the bottom right slider, the this was operator error. Load up a photo, add some emitters, hide the menus, and hit the iPad screen record for a quick way of adding snow, smoke, sparks and swirls to anything. And you can interact with the screen while the sim runs. Epic.

Absolutely wonderful
I just bought the app and I’ve barely scratched the surface of whites there. Beautiful design the possibilities seem endless. What more can you say? Just wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing such a great tool with everyone!
Many, many uses
At first, I used it as just an app to pass the time here and there when I had a few minutes to spare and the more I used it, the more fun I had with it! From making interactive winter scenes with snow falling in the foreground with a winter picture in the background to using it as an unconventional way to draw (just make it layer by layer, taking screenshots and then using those as backgrounds). I’ve even used it as a music visualizer when headphones are in. Although I don’t always play with it, it’s one of the few apps I keep coming back to!

Along with a physical moving “dial” controlling the Emitter and Fields .. maybe a digital input for more exacting results...

This is a very fun game to play whenever I am bored and can relieve my stress.
Great but missing obvious details
The imagery is beautiful and easy to create with the simple interface however, there seems to be no way to remove the icons for the purposes of capturing a screenshot. So you may have something great going, and want to capture the image, but it will be littered with all of the little node icons. The snapshot option crashes the app so I don’t know if that’s supposed to do this. Also, using the touch controls is great fun, but if you have other ion nodes set up that you want to alter with touches, the risk of moving them accidentally is huge. There should be a way to both hide the icons/interface , and to also/simultaneously lock the nodes in place so you can touch freely with no worries. It would get 5stars otherwise but these are such glaring issues that it’s a wonder they weren’t implemented from day 1.

Screen needs to be as symmetric as possible. One half is full and the other half is missing ions.

That’s saying a lot too, given the amount of direct competition. Of any particle manipulation app out there this is probably the tightest and most refined. Beautiful visuals That would look incredible on AppleTV...hope springs eternal😂 TV aside, this is in all seriousness a pacesetter for a niche genre...this is your new favorite particle app!!

Fun ... but ultimately useless
Useless is OK, but would be improved by addressing 2 things. “Save Snapshot” causes a crash, no snapshot is saved. And I would LOVE an export to movie function!

It completely wastes your time... I must have been in a mindless state when I purchased it....so I must delete it!...oh no says my mindless state it might come in handy....after all I have been playing with it for ...wow can’t be 2 hours feels like 10 minutes...it must be addictive....therefore it must be a fun app! That’s it....it’s a completely mindless addictive game that you just can’t put down ...it’s compulsive, yet stress free and fun.....I’m keeping it!!!
