I love iOrnament but
It has recently been crashing every single time I open it.
PAID OVER AND OVER? why it only writes in white?and no other attributes?

Best App For Pattern Design
There is something about this app that eases the OCD part of my brain. It is so soothing to see every random scratch and squiggle become part of a beautiful pattern. I have used it to make hundreds of patterns, many of which I end up getting printed on custom clothing, accessories, and household items. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in fashion or design, but be warned, it is highly addictive and really lights up your grey matter.

the original is less buggy
i was so excited to see that my favorite app iOrnament made a new Pro edition!.. but unfortunately it falls quite short of my expectations, and i will not continue to use it. its quite buggy and it is not perfectly integrated with the Apple Pencil. when i click buttons with the apple pencil, they act as if not clicked. some buttons only work when tapped with fingers. also, it is almost impossible to draw a straight line with the apple pencil, and its so easy to draw a straight line with my finger. the lines are super jagged/jittery with apple pencil, no matter how hard i try to draw a precise straight line. i do not have either of these issues on the original iOrnament app. please fix these bugs, and perhaps add an option of a stabilized pen.

Hi! I use this app a lot and love it so much! I was wondering if I could stream or record my drawings for YouTube videos and twitch?
Fun, versatile, impressive results
My biggest request if there is an update in the works would be to add adjustable smoothing/stabilization. I know the strokes can be edited after being drawn but it would be nice to set smoothing for all strokes. I don’t have the steadiest hand and some stabilization would be very helpful.

Can get lost for hours in this creative app
My favorite app!
This is my go to app for anything creative. Is there any chance that you might improve the app to create images to include 30,000 x 30,000 pixels? Also, I really like that I can save the images I create and share them to procreate or Photoshop. It just seems that when I do that the quality of the pictures is lost. Unless it’s something that I’m just not doing right.

I may be missing something obvious but when I draw a line it is rough. In most drawing apps you can draw a line and hold, then it converts to a smart shape, in this instance a perfect straight line which looks far better than a hand drawn one. Bezier curves would be handy too.
Basically I can draw things but the result is dreadful. I want crisp, clear lines/shapes, not rough hand drawn ones. I've looked at the settings and the help and if there is an option for this then I can't see it.

Excellent App for Designers & Math lovers
I bought this app a few months back and just now started to use it. If you’re a designer and/or math teacher, this app is for you. It is far more powerful than it appears, so be prepared for a bit of a learning curve, but worth the time.
Last update caused consistent crashing
I love this app and have been using it for many years, even the original version. It used to crash occasionally and I would sometimes loose a few strokes when it reloaded, but now it crashing almost every time I attempt to use it. My only choice was to delete the app and reinstall it which I’m tired of doing multiple times. I have lost years of my art, 100’s of works I created. Very upsetting as an artist to loose something your put your heart into. Luckily I had already exported most of my favorites but unable to go back and edit or change anything since they are gone.

Great when it works
I enjoy the app, it could use a stroke stabilization option, but not a deal breaker. The options for rounds and sub-rounds are really cool. HOWEVER 2 stars knocked off because a new “tier” has been added that allows image import. Which is great for anyone who needs it, no problem there. But the premium version I have now has a pop-up every 20 seconds or so reminding me that I cannot import images unless I upgrade. I don’t want to, so no need to upgrade. No way to shut off the pop-up. Dev needs to address this, no thanks means no thanks.

I have tried to open some past files but they do not load.
Loading artworks
Great app! But strangely after upgrading with the new tools, I can’t load artworks created after the upgrade but only the old ones created before. Maybe related with resolution and memory?

This App has a very educational interactive tutorial on wallpaper groups which is the whole basis behind the pure mathematical beauty of this app. These creations are as simple as a reflection of a single vector or as complex as ones imagination can create based solely on your input. These ornaments are all 100% created by the user, every stroke or touch is recorded from start to finish. The latest upgrades open up a whole new toy box of tools with new ways to manipulate and enhance your creations. My favourite toys are the fill effects and the pencil box where you can save your favourite pens. There is also some new tools for adding images ! I recommend this app for anyone of any age!
