Incredible app

We have been using ioverlander for several years and love it! So thankful for it!

Disgusting

This is promoting illegal camping on private land. It should be banned. We take no responsibility for how illegal campers on our private wildlife reserve will be treated by our security forces patrolling for poachers.

WTF

WTF guys, there is no Russia on the list, but Ukraine 🤦🏻

Continuously getting worse

This app has gotten progressively worse over the years.

Average app, no free trial as promised

I signed up expecting 1 week free trial to review this app, however I got billed the same day so I’ve now cancelled it and won’t be resubscribing.
There are other apps that are cheaper and provide similar information. iOverlander is way too expensive bearing in mind the data it displays is provided by its own users and considering how widely this app is used, £10 a month, or even the annual sub, from each subscriber, is just a crazy amount of profiteering.

There is literally nothing here

Google maps is more useful

Not finding much

We need to find water and dump stations when we boondock and so far we aren’t getting much of anything on this app

Super useful

Super useful. I have always loved iOverlander and have used it for years even when it was free. I do miss the free version though this is a nice upgrade. Albeit I think it is kind of overpriced.

Used to be good

This app was better before the paid version. Now navigation is more difficult and other bugs and weirdness. People also don’t seem to be updating things as closed/unavailable or adding new locations(I’m one of those people that don’t update/add things anymore). Sadly just can’t depend on the app any more. Dyrt now my go to.

Cross country

Our go to app for finding spots as we drive cross country, FL to WA & back in our truck camper.

Rip off better free apps

This company is a rip off camping app not worth it even for free its user interface is awful and has the most inefficient app system I’ve used. WikiCamps charges 8 cad per year and theres guys try and charge 130 per year it’s laughable! It’s information all uploaded by people, reliant on the community and yet they charge a premium. Maybe if it had discounts at campsites or something but as it is, very poor value. Recommend google free apps and avoid this

Keeps getting worse

Now there are full page ads that you cannot X out of and have to either click on the sd or close the app. Terrible.

Just great!

Helps us find sites, water etc while living on the road and saves us a lot of time and money.
I just wish there was a way to save places so we can research in advance or save a few option to consider since some sites are not ideal or taken it’s great to research some additional options in advance

Couldn’t travel without it

Amazing app, been using it for my long road trip and has been a life saver for finding everything I need!

Invaluable and Relevant

This app is a game changer when it comes to locating great places to car camp. Greatly increases the probability of safe no hassle locations.

Deleted all my saved places

Logged on and found nothing there.

Very helpful but maps need improvement

Full time van lifer for 3 years. Use the app almost daily and have added many places. My only complaint is the maps. They’re hard to read. Town names and road names disappear too easily while slightly zooming in or out. Wish they didn’t disappear at all. Makes it harder to route a trip. I lose my spot on your maps regularly. I pay for pro and have tried all the layers and they don’t help. Please fix the maps! There are better maps out there, use them. Otherwise I’m glad this app exists. It’s helped me find great spots to overnight all over the western US.

A Huge Downgrade

The original app was much better. This is unusable.

New app has never worked

Since they retired the old app and made the new one, I have never been able to get anything to pop up on my map, no matter the filters
