Needs work
This thing can’t do the face capture well at all. Fails every time. Never had a problem with face capture before works easily on Apple.
Will not scan back of ID
Front of ID scans perfectly. I have tried multiple backgrounds and lighting levels, but I cannot get the back to scan after numerous attempts. IPhone 14.
Did not work
App wouldn’t work. Tech support could not resolve the issue.
Won’t Scan ID
Was told this would work with an iphone 14 or higher. My phone is an iphone 14 and wont focus for the back.
Unusable
When it comes time to verify my face the camera is incredibly blurry and it causes it to fail or makes it impossible to rotate your head as required
Doesn’t work
No matter what background surface or lighting I use, it will not detect the back of my ID and I get an error.
Wallet is Available
The app works for airports et al. Yes!
Disappointed it didn’t work
I was excited to get this app but never got the opportunity to use this app. I had no issue capturing an image of the front of my ID but every time (20+ attempts) I tried to capture the back of my ID, it failed. Constantly told me “Blur Detected”. I tried everything: dark background, adequate lighting, holding the camera still. Super disappointed.

No Apple Wallet
Having yet another app is counterintuitive when modern devices have wallets that are encrypted and secure. Deleted and unrolled this app. I’ll just show my physical ID.
Insta crash
This app doesn’t work. Just crashes immediately when I open it.
Keeps crashing
After downloading all my info. I actually need to use the app and it keeps crashing.
Constantly crashes
The app crashes constantly. I have deleted the app and re-installed/re-enrolled twice. Don’t waste your time. Other states have better solutions that Iowa should adopt.
Junk
Never works. Always being reset then takes 3 weeks to get it to work again. Do better!
Took a few restarts
I upgraded to iPhone 16 and MID stopped working. I enter my pin, do a face nose move, then it crashes. Deleted and reinstalled twice—first time no luck but second time it worked. When it works it’s great!
No one knows what this is!
I have tried using this several times and no one knows what it is nor will they accept it. Very unfortunate. Maybe when you all roll this stuff out you should inform IA businesses and restaurants that it’s new and how to validate it.
Garbage app
This app will not work on my Apple iPhone 14 . Let’s hope
Bureaucrats run amok
Instead of going with Apple Wallet, the bureaucrats decided to saddle Iowans with another app to download. It is difficult to enroll, you have to move your nose around to connect dots . After 7 attempts I finally got the hang of it. Sad that Iowans have to suffer so someone in government can meet another “goal” on her yearly list

Can’t rely on it
It works. And it doesn’t. Then it works. Then it doesn’t just updated to iOS 18 verified operating system and app were up-to-date. It doesn’t work.
Ugh!
The “selfie” in this app is impossible! I’ve now tried 14 times (actually 42 times, sine you get 3 tries per attempt!)
I’m working with an iPhone 14 Pro with the latest iOS version. I “chatted” & did everything suggested ( including turning off wifi and scam software) and it still didn’t work!
If I could give it less than a 1 rating, I would. Why didn’t IA just go with Apple or Google wallet?
