Best IP Calculator Out There

IP Calc is my favorite IP calculator. The updated interface is clean, and the networking/subnet planning tools are a lifesaver for my workflow. Thanks to the developer for the thoughtful improvements-great work!

Mask slider missing

After updating to iOS 8.3, mask slider is missing. When you start the app, it's there for s second, then disappears. This is a great app, please fix. Thanks!

CIDR not present

Agreed. Following update to 8.3 CIDR is no longer visible. After entering an IP, I can no longer specify the bits to the mask.

CIDR Mask slider bar no longer visible

Up until the iOS 8.3 update, this was my IP calculator of choice. Basic calculator with CIDR slider provided 98% of my needs. Since 8.3, the slider bar is no longer visible, even though the functionality still exists.

Great network calc

Every network admin should have this app.

Great App - Suggestion for Future

This is a great app for the price. If you're a network administrator it's a must. I would like to see support for IPv6 and would love to have the ability to save info about my networks. Assigned ranges, descriptions, network settings (ie NAT, PAT, SNMP, Helper, DHCP, etc). Also would like to be able to track info about specific ip addresses on a network.

То что нужно.

Ничего лишнего. Все что необходимо на одном экране. Отлично.

Simple, fast, and accurate

This is a great simple to use subnet calculator. I'm not sure what the previous poster is referring to in regards to it's accuracy...a /30 does in fact give you 2 hosts, 1 network, and 1 broadcast address..so this app is accurate.

Great app.

nice app, one problem

31 subnet bits is supposed to be able to host 2 hosts, 30 is supposed to host 4 hosts. however, the app shows that 30 bits hosts 2, and 29 hosts 6. it's missing 4 hosts

It is all you need

Been a Network Architect for 20+ years. This ap does it all. Suppers CIDR. Supports full VLSM with IP Net mask, subnet mask, and host mask.
So say you have a /25 net with a /27 subnet mask, it will show you that you have 8 subnets of size /27 in the single /25 of 30 host IPs each. Nice.

An App for the Computer Techs

I am in the Information Technology field and this application has been very helpful and I would recommend it to anyone that deals with computer networks.

Very Nice!

I've used a perl script called ipcalc on Linux and Mac for years, and this iPhone app comes closer than any of the others to its ease of use and functionality. My only complaint is the touchy subnet bits slider; I would prefer to just input the number of bits. Fix that and add IPV6 capability and I'll change my rating to 5 stars.

Well worth the price if you're on the move...

All of us geeks have an IP cheat sheet tacked to the wall, sure. But if you move around, this thing sure comes in handy. I'd deduct a half star for the Subnet Mask slider - I'd like to see the button a little larger for my gorilla hands, or a data entry field, either one. But 4 1/2 stars rounds up to 5 in my world.

Good app to have at your finger tips.

Good app to have at your finger tips.

Good, but please . . .

Save data between restarts. Program works great, but having to reenter each time you come back is a pain. Thanks!
