Works Very Well
User interface is very good. There is a learning curve due to the number of options and settings, but the learning is not difficult.

Thank you again for the updated review and for recognizing the developer response. I have already made changes intended to better support NVR setups like yours, where the NVR is discovered but the individual Dahua ONVIF camera channels are not being exposed correctly. If you are willing, I would really appreciate having you test a TestFlight build before I release the update publicly. Your setup is exactly the type I want to verify against. Please email me at v5cqpsj4e3u4@opayq.com and mention “Dahua NVR TestFlight” in the message. I can send you a TestFlight invite and work directly with you to confirm whether the fix properly detects and adds your individual camera streams. Thank you again for the detailed feedback. It directly helped improve the app, and I would be glad to get this working properly for your setup.
Fees
Response from developer
Thanks for the feedback. Just to clarify for anyone reading, Apple requires all apps with in-app purchases to display pricing on the App Store page before download, and our subscription information is listed there. The app can be used with one camera for free, and Pro features are optional. I’m always happy to help if anything about the setup or pricing wasn’t clear.
Doesn’t work with Dahau
Response from developer
Hi there — sorry to hear about your experience. Dahua cameras do work with the app once ONVIF is enabled, but it’s turned off by default in Dahua’s settings app. A lot of manufacturers do this to lock users into their own software, so enabling ONVIF usually fixes connection issues right away. On PTZ: the controls can be shown or hidden, and they’re semi-transparent so you can still see the feed. We place them in the center to make the buttons larger and avoid accidental taps on other controls. Also, just for transparency: when you emailed support, we replied right away with steps to cancel your subscription and request a refund from Apple so you wouldn’t be charged going forward. We’re continuing to improve compatibility and UI, and your feedback helps a lot. If the issue’s been resolved or you’re able to connect after enabling ONVIF, we’d really appreciate if you could update or reconsider the 1-star review. Thank you.
Not clear what’s free and what’s paid
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. To clarify, the app is free to download and basic functionality is included without a subscription. Advanced features such as audio and multi-camera support are premium because they require significant ongoing development and infrastructure costs. This isn’t “greed” — it’s how the app can continue to be improved, maintained, and supported long-term. Subscriptions ensure that the service remains sustainable and that I can keep adding new capabilities for users who need them. I’m not some large corporation, I’m an individual guy building apps to pay my bills and feed my family. I’ll continue to refine how the differences between free and paid features are communicated, but the subscription model is intentional and necessary for the quality and reliability of the app.
