IP Recon

Good, fast, cheap: pick two. That is the rule. IP Recon was built to break it. Most network scanners hand you a list of addresses and leave the hard part to you. IP Recon hands you a list of devices: a Mac Studio, a Proxmox host and the containers it runs, the HP printer nobody admits to owning, a Sonos Amp, a phone on the guest VLAN that should not be there. Where the network cannot say, IP Recon leaves the field blank. Every device shows the evidence its identification rests on, so a confident answer is distinguishable from a guess. YOUR CONTROLLERS, READ DIRECTLY Connect UniFi, Proxmox VE, TP-Link Omada, Cisco Meraki or Fortinet FortiGate, as many of each as you run, and IP Recon reads their inventory over read-only APIs and joins it to the scan by hardware address. A UniFi client shows its access point. A Proxmox guest shows whether it is a VM or a container and the node it lives on. REPORTS YOU CAN HAND SOMEONE Export to HTML, PDF, CSV or JSON, four formats from one schema, on either platform. The PDF is the deliverable. Share it from the phone in the meeting, or export it at the desk. A scan you stopped part way through says so in every format, instead of reading like a complete one. Put your own organization name on the report, with a line naming who it was prepared for, on either platform. ON MAC Add your logo to the report, and a topology placing each device under the access point or switch it connects through. Schedule scans daily, weekly or on your own interval, and get told when a new device appears, when a MAC vendor changes, or when something unauthorized shows up. Tag, rename and annotate devices and set approval state; it all persists across scans and follows into every format. Compare any two scans and see what changed. Saved searches, with a query builder, keep watch on whatever matters to you. ON IPHONE AND IPAD The scan happens where you are standing: the server room, the ceiling, the retail floor. Find the unknown device, then walk toward it. The same rule engine runs on the phone, and Bonjour, SNMP and service fingerprinting run with it. Scan up to five subnets at once, connect a controller for the rest, and share any of the four formats straight from the sheet. FAST, AND HONEST ABOUT IT Every speed gain was checked by counting how many open ports the scan still found. Speed that cost accuracy was rolled back. PRIVACY Everything happens on your own device. No cloud relays, no analytics, no tracking, no account. Optional Fingerbank lookups on the Mac use an API key you supply.
