Needs some idea of how to set this up

I ran this as a server then on a separate device ran a client. Sadly with the lack of instructions I found no way to configure this app to correctly function.
I’m hoping the dev comes back to me with more information.
This reminds me to stick to my normal which is to not bother with Apps that don’t offer a trial period however, I can see in this instance why they haven’t.
Dear dev please assist and allow me to revise my review.

Well done

Does a good job measuring my network against the iPerf server of an AVM FritzBox. Thanks a lot!

Great tool please add a -P option

Great tool please add a -P option

Response from developer

Thanks for your great feedback, new version has added the -P option.

Very good

A good app to test iperf udp and tcp. I verified in LTE network. It works well for both Downlink and Uplink.

Performs as expected and top notch support

I asked the Developer a question about the app and received a response within minutes. Great support. Stable app.

Only iOS option for advanced iPerf2

This app will not win any awards for the user interface and is not designed for beginners. However if you need command line options for iPerf2, it does exactly that, and is the only app for iOS that does.

many bugs

it works but has many bugs. There is no description or instructions for most arguments. Once you start server or client, you cannot go back without shutting down app and clearing it out of memory. App freezes up if you accidentally enter wrong IP address. Very simple basic app, NOT worth the price. Too many bugs.

Thanks for you comments. First: there is descriptions for each option regarding the tool, e.g by setting UDP to true means to run in UDP mode etc..., what you were asking is the iPerf tutorial, which is widely available on internet, by putting long and complex iPerf instructions in a small screen would not be a good idea. Second: you were saying is NOT a bug, you can stop the server or client once you choose to run the App being as server mode or client mode, so I guess the "bug" you mean is a feature nice to have, which I would like to develop. Third: if you put wrong server IP, the iPerf will try to connect to it until time out, the waiting time quite long. Fourth, please respect the work that I have been putting on the tool as you can see there were features keeping being added for FREE and there were maintenance builds keep being issued. Have a good day:-)

Crashes Nonstop

I unfortunately purchased the bundel with iPerf and iPerf3 and both are dissapointing. When trying to figure out how to use each app, they just crash nonstop. I tried for about 10 minutes and got frustrated with it. I would love to have my money back as they are completely worthless.

Response from developer

Please contact asolutioncontact@gmail.com for technical support, also I would suggest to delete the App and reinstall them, again thanks for your interesting and wish you have a great day!

Seems to work fine with Linux iperf version 2.0.5. I wanted a tool that could test local (vs. internet) wifi access point performance for iPhone/iPad. The UI is cryptic, but gets the job done.
