User reviews

I love this app!

I’ve had this app for years and managed to keep it on all my iPhones even though I originally bought it on a different apple account. Just upgraded and bought it again on my new apple account. I use Lastpass also but this gives me a backup in case I ever forget the master password.

Never had a problem...

Been using this App for over 6 years. Never had a problem with it. Very Secure for storing your Data!

Constant Crash

I can't give it a full review because I can get to even use it.
While trying to set it up it just crashes and shuts down.
Have a applied for a refund.

Pin safe

Very very basic.... not worth the money!

Good

Have looked at loads of different password managers and this one seems the simplest, easiest to use and safe

FAQ

What is iPinSafe?

iPinSafe is a productivity app designed to securely store your secret passwords and PIN codes on your iPhone or iPod touch. It utilizes strong AES encryption and a unique gesture-based unlock system for enhanced security.

How does iPinSafe protect my data?

Your data is protected using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption. Access is granted only by reproducing a specific screen gesture defined by you, making it virtually impossible to guess. The encryption key is not stored on the device.

What makes the gesture unlock unique?

Instead of typing a password, you draw a line pattern on the screen to unlock iPinSafe. This method is faster, easier to remember than a traditional password, and offers a vast number of possible gestures for security.

Can I sync my data with a computer?

Yes, you can enter and maintain your data either directly within the app on your iPhone or iPod touch, or with the Mac version of iPinSafe, which is available on the Mac App Store.

What happens if someone tries to access my data incorrectly?

iPinSafe tracks the number of incorrect gesture entries. You can configure a maximum number of attempts, after which the stored data is automatically destroyed to prevent unauthorized access.

How much does iPinSafe cost?

iPinSafe is a paid application, priced at $1.99. This one-time purchase grants you access to all its security features.

Is iPinSafe suitable for all ages?

iPinSafe has an age rating of 4+, indicating it is generally suitable for younger users. However, its primary function is password management, making it more relevant for users who need to secure sensitive information.

How often is iPinSafe updated?

The latest version of iPinSafe is 1.5, released on October 31, 2016. While updates have not been frequent recently, the app's core functionality remains robust for its intended purpose.
