About

The IPPF Institutional Data Guidelines app is the official reference guide for Member Associations, Collaborative Partners, and the Secretariat. It provides all the information and data guidance needed for reporting achievements against IPPF's Results Framework under the Strategy 2023-2028. IPPF, the International Planned Parenthood Federation, is a global federation of over 100 locally led Member Associations with a presence in more than 150 countries. Each organization is unique, with its own blend of strengths and priorities, working within its own specific context. Yet all are united by shared commitments to equity, justice, and inclusivity in sexual and reproductive health and rights. Reporting is a powerful tool to showcase meaningful and positive changes in people's sexual and reproductive lives. Through our data, we demonstrate how IPPF's strength lies in its diversity, from the smallest MA to the largest, and our collective impact. What you'll find in this app: Part A -  Results Framework: Detailed guidance on each indicator, including how it is compiled and reported. Understand the full set of key performance indicators aligned with the four strategic pillars. Part B - Reporting by MAs: Comprehensive instructions on how data should be reported, covering service statistics and the global indicators questionnaire. Part C - Changes to Reporting: A clear record of updates and revisions to reporting requirements as the Strategy evolves. Part D - Definitions: The complete list of definitions for IPPF's service statistics, ensuring consistency and clarity across all reporting. Key features: • Full, searchable access to the Institutional Data Guidelines • Clear indicator definitions and reporting instructions • Segmented expectations based on MA capacity and country context, reducing reporting burden while increasing data detail • Regular updates as the Strategy progresses over its six-year cycle • Designed for use by Member Associations, Collaborative Partners, and Secretariat staff worldwide By setting up key performance indicators that for the first time acknowledge the diversity of MAs through segmented expectations, IPPF is able to reduce the reporting burden on Member Associations while increasing the level of detail in global datasets. This data supports critical advocacy work, helps develop allyship, mobilizes funding, and informs internal management, highlighting areas needing further investment and showing alignment with IPPF's strategic ambitions. Download the app and have the complete Institutional Data Guidelines at your fingertips, wherever you are.
