The word Ipsento was created by combining two Latin roots: ipse, meaning “self,” and sentio, meaning “to discover.” For us, self-discovery isn’t an abstract idea—it’s something you taste and feel. Our mission is to craft deeply satisfying experiences that spark curiosity, connection, and growth. Ipsento began as a passion-driven coffee shop in Chicago, created with a clear focus on quality, care, and thoughtful hospitality. What started as a dedication to well-crafted coffee slowly grew into a full café experience shaped by creativity and intention. From the beginning, every decision centered on making coffee approachable while respecting the craft behind it. At its core, Ipsento is about craft coffee.
