ipTIME ID is a cloud-based device management system provided by ipTIME. It allows users to check and manage their ipTIME routers remotely from their smartphone, even when outside their home network.
How do I register my router with ipTIME ID?
The app can find routers on the same network. After confirming the administrator password, your router will be registered to your ipTIME ID. A single router can be registered to multiple accounts, such as for family members.
Can I log in without a password using ipTIME ID?
Yes, ipTIME ID supports Passkey login. This means you won't need to re-enter the administrator password every time you access a registered router.
What remote management features does ipTIME ID offer?
You can directly access the router management screen through the app. This includes changing settings, upgrading firmware, and checking connected devices. For supported USB NAS products, you can also use the file explorer.
Does ipTIME ID provide notifications?
Yes, ipTIME ID provides status checks and notifications. You can monitor the router's online/offline status and firmware version. You will also receive alerts for connection loss and new firmware availability.
Can I turn on my PC remotely with ipTIME ID?
For products that support Wake-on-LAN (WOL), you can remotely power on your home PC using the 'PC On' button on the app's device screen.
What devices are supported by ipTIME ID?
ipTIME ID is supported on almost all products distributed with firmware version 16.00.0 or later. However, A3008-MU and V504plus are not supported due to storage limitations.
