I just started in a study, and this app is terrible. I had a task that I was supposed to do by a certain date, and when I went to do it that day, it was already marked it as missed. I had a task due today, answered the questions and saved it earlier this morning, and now it says it was missed. It’s very frustrating.

My app is telling me a new version 15.0 is available & to update, but it’s not really available yet because what’s here in the app store is 14.1?

Buggy app
The most recent update removed the app from my iPhone. I had to download again. I am iOS 16.0.2 . IPhone 12 Max Pro. In the past I have had to complete the diary multiple times, close the app, reboot and set the diary again to get completion.
Required change to password pop up is the only place time to change password. If dismissed no place to complete password change at users convenience.

So far totally underwhelmed
I’m told this is the app I am to use to participate in a study. So far I’ve put my username and password in about ten times and then from there the screen goes completely blank. The link in the email also does the same thing. Useless.
Entry acknowledgement
Study does not acknowledge user having completed the cold symptom entry. Even if user logs out, then logs back in, study still demands the user answers cold symptom! After the date changes study seems undecided. To clear issue, log out and log back in.

The app lets the whole study down
The study I take part in is so precise and detailed I have no idea who decided to go with this app. The notification symbol won’t clear after completion of the survey. I am unable to complete my health assessments during a bout of cold, the very time the study is centred on!

Still dreadful if
Nearly 2 years since I started using this and it’s still as dreadful as ever. One can only read the “update” notes and chuckle were it not for the sheer time and frustration that this poor excuse for an app inflicts on its unlucky users. Complicated user interface that often trips up. “We’re working on it” error message all the time. Notification icons on my home screen that don’t reflect the number in the app together with the fact that neither can be easily cleared. Absolutely crap and has put me off anything produced by this developer and on any future participation in clinical trials requiring any kind of mobile-based data collection.

Worst App
This is, without a doubt, the worst app I've ever encountered. I'm enrolled in a trial and all it's used for is a one question (yes/no) check-in. When you respond, you get no acknowledgement, and if there's a problem, you can't tell. You can't edit or clear anything, so missed or non-registered check-ins sit in your to do list indefinitely.
They told me I can do a workaround by distinguishing between what's "Available" and what's "Required" on the assignment page. I'll tell you what's a better workaround: a piece of paper with a phone number to call if you have a positive response to report.

Confused with alerts
Got multiple alerts to complete symptom check when I thought it had reduced to every fortnight on Wednesday. Go in the app and one isn’t even due. Completed it anyway, but now I’m so confused. I’m leaving this trial.

Even after entering your info it won’t clear the notification alert. I have to open it again the next day to clear

Extremely poor functionality, sloppily laid out and prone to inaccurate information. This is about as badly constructed an App as I’ve come across.
And now it does not even record my results when I post them, forcing me to email the study each time. Basically, this App is crap.

Stupid site
This is a most annoying site . I can’t exit when I am done! And it isn’t even ready for the day early in the morning. I am talking 6 AM eastern time . And I was told I only have to check in every 2 weeks starting today? Anyone in charge? Do you agree? How am I to know?
My experience
Maybe I’m an outlier but I’ve never had any difficulty logging in or using the diary. Maybe I’m the exception but just thought I’d share.
