As you go about your day, IRL Social privately notices when you and another member are in the same place around the same time. Later, you'll see a simple feed of the people you crossed paths with. Recognize someone? Send a connection request. When you both say yes, you can chat and share 24-hour stories. No one can message you unless you've both connected first. BUILT PRIVACY-FIRST • Your precise location never leaves your phone. Only a blurred, approximate area is ever used to find overlaps. • A rotating, anonymous ID confirms you were nearby — no permanent identifier follows you around. • Everything is time-limited: crossings and stories clear after 24 hours. • You choose what to share. Your real name is shown only to people you connect with.
