Skinless chicken breast probably vegan?
Items with ingredients such as “skinless chicken breast” are marked as probably vegan which makes it impossible for me to rely on or trust the filtering of this app. Although I’m no app developer, it seems an ingredient including chicken, something I certainly want to avoid as a vegan, shouldn’t be hard to mark definitely not vegan.

Not perfect, but useful
I use this app nearly every time I go to the grocery store.
Sometimes a snack will have those impossible-to-read ingredients and this helps me determine whether or not they’re vegan within a matter of seconds. It saves a lot of time; now I don’t have to google everything.
The database could be bigger, but it is easy to submit new barcodes to help the database grow.
Definitely would recommend!

I just paid $4.99 for this app and it does nothing. My sadness right now is directly proportional to the excitement I felt when I first found it. Please fix so I can enjoy using, at this point, what is only fabulous idea. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Good, But a Bit Flakey
Apparently, this app suffers from a bit of a shaking infrastructure. When it works, it’s invaluable and worth every penny. When it doesn’t, it’s as frustrating as it gets. The app developer appears uncommunicative, so don’t bother trying to contact them. Just wait, they’ll fix it when they do.

This app was great when it worked. Now all of a sudden it stopped working. I try to scan something and then it doesn’t load. Waste of money!

Suddenly stopped working. Both my wife and I rely on this app daily and it worked great most of the time. We were using the free version and it would just beep after scanning and nothing would happen. Manual entry doesn't do anything either. I paid $5 to get the full version hoping this would help, but to no avail. Then I went to email them from the app for assistance and you can't even click on the email link. What use is that? Please fix this. I really hope they see my review, since I can't email them and make this app great again.

Up until a few minutes ago, this application was flawless. Had pretty much every item you’d scan. Now after the most recent update, it crashes! Please fix and I’ll update to 5 stars.

This App doesn't tell you until you pay $4.99 that is is not compatible unless I have iOS 11... which I don't!!! How do I get refunded? 😨
App closes every time I scan
I bought the 4.99 version and it shuts down every time I attempt to scan a barcode.

As a fledgling vegan, this application has been invaluable when shopping at the grocery store!
Not a good app
I bought this thinking it might be more useful than the free version. Nope. It has very few actual products in its database and is inaccurate. Certified vegan products are in the red zone? I'll stick with reading labels. It's a good idea- but it needs more work.

I've bee looking for such an app for a long time. I've been vegetarian for a very long time and vegan as much as possible for a couple of years now. This apps is very helpful on a daily basis, or when trying to figure whether an obscure ingredient name is vegan. Huge thanks to the developers and people making the data necessary behind. Kudos!!! You guys absolutely rock!

Neat little application.
This app needs to be updated very soon - it's starting to slow down my phone (iPhone 6) because it's not compatible with the current iOS. Other than that, it's excellent. The database isn't very large yet, but the app makes it easy to add products for review when an unknown product comes up. It also allows us to choose if sugar is vegetarian or vegan, which is a nice feature. After using the free version for about a year, I decided to upgrade to support the app. There's not many similar ones out there, and this one is the most user friendly and simple without killing my phone's battery.

Only works about half the time
It knows the product but says all the ingredients are unknown if they are vegan. We are talking about things like potatoes. Not reliable at all. Other times it works fine. Would not recommend paying for it until it is fixed.
It doesn't do anything
Just tried this on 3 different products. Only one was in its database. The other two I tried to take pictures of and I got a connection failure.
The one it did register was listed as "probably vegan" but all of the ingredients were plant based and it is a known vegan product.
Wish I'd downloaded the free version.
