User reviews

This needs to be updated

This tool needs to be updated to the latest Bind (9.20.2)

does what it says

Only issues are non-functional; say switching the Defaul DNS servers, you have to go via Options->Servers, rather than a direct link on the rather sparse interface.

Also appears abandoned, and has no privacy statement, else would be a five star review.

Funktioniert immer noch

Prima App - auch wenn das letzte Update 3 Jahre her ist

Weird

It feels like a fake BIND ISC DIG, and to make it look real use copy the original terminal format from desktop applications, besides it won’t automatically timeout, no cancel button, can’t even add unconventional ports… For normal DNS checking, it’s okay, more? It can’t.

Please update. BIND 9.14 is EOL.

I find this app to be indispensable, however, it’s in need of an update. Currently based off BIND 9.14, a version that has been EOL since 2020. The current stable builds as of this review (2022-08-27) are 9.16 and 9.18. This would be a 5-star app for me if it were updated.
