Accurate!
I switched from using the Weather Channel app to this one as I was looking for something more accurate. We would get storms and the WC app would show nothing on the radar. When I found out about this app, I downloaded and realized it was more accurate that I replaced the other weather apps I had. I love that I cannot only get notifications for my current location, but I can get accurate notifications for another town where my sister and her daughter live alone. I’ve been able to tell her of upcoming snow or even thunderstorms that are popping up so she’s aware before it happens. And that’s what’s more important.

Iowa’s best weather group
My family and I love this group of people! They are the best! They give the most accurate forecast!
Best app
This is best app for weather and notifications of lightning, severe storms and what not coming in. I rely on them for me and my family. I recommend them over any apps that are weather related in Iowa hands down.
Widget
I do like the app it’s nice and clean. But I travel a lot throughout the day and for life for me. I can’t seem to get the widget to follow me to different locations like other apps do.
Doesn’t work on iOS 26?
Since I’ve updated, I’ve been unable to open the app even after installation. It shows the ISCN splash on open then goes black with a loading wheel forever stalled.

The best
We lived in Iowa for three years. We moved and I kept the app. This app consistently issues storm warnings before the local and national apps for where we now live, different state.
Last week we were under a tornado watch and this app alerted us 10 minutes before any other app.

Junk do not download
There is no way to get the alerts to work. Yes they are on! But the alerts don’t work or are very delayed from other apps.

Hello! Do you by chance have location services set to "always allow" in the app? If not, the push notification alerts will not work. This is usually the solve to push notifications not working. And if location services are set to always allow, the next issue is typically a stable internet source.

About the only thing i miss about being on facebook was the ISCN page (although with algorithms, i probably wouldnt see much from the page on my feed nowadays anyway).
With that said, i finally deleted this app. I have had it quite a while and it usually take opening the app 2-4 times to get it to work. I looked this morning and after five attempts to open, i gave up and deleted the app.

Great weather app!
I love this weather app!
That said there are 2 things that would make it even better in my humble opinion.
1. If it didn't crash so much upon launch (sometimes on my iPhone 14 Pro cell phone I'll have to tap on it 2 or 3 times before it'll open and stay open.
2. Theme color. I'd love it if the app changed to dark mode when the rest of my iPhone does each day.
That said there are 2 things that would make it even better in my humble opinion.

Crashes
As helpful as this app is. It crashes a lot. Every time I open this app I have to open it 3 or 4 times before it actually opens. It loads up as if it’s going to open up. But just shows the yellow app with ISCN than closes

I love this weather app where a person can add up to 16 locations but I only have 5 locations set up and wondering how to delete one location?
Awesome App!
Before finding this app I used the big name ones that just weren’t accurate at all and had way too many issues. I was so glad to find this one, because it’s user friendly, accurate, and gives me the info I need instead of ads. It’s the only one I use now and I suggest it to everyone.
Awesome app from an Iowa native!
This app is awesome and it works very well! I always use this to look at the radar not only in Iowa but also California where I am living. I am so glad this is working since the NWS update their radar and it has not worked for me since.
Amazing
Love this app. You can set up more than one location which I appreciate. Also loved having it while on a road trip this summer. It’s hard to figure out what county you’re in while traveling and you can set this to location and are given all notifications for current location.

I absolutely love this weather app!! It has been the most accurate out of all the other weather apps I have had!! I have deleted all my other apps and only rely on this for all my weather needs!! The push notifications set it so far ahead then all the others!! ONLY APP YOU NEED!!!
