Excellent Deck

I wanted to get this app to try this deck before ordering it from Japan. It’s an excellent deck and will be great for those who prefer the Marseille school and are old pros, as well as those members of other schools (RWS, Thoth) looking to get into Marseille as the images are slightly more modern as opposed to the wood block print of Marseille decks which can be uncomely to many. Highly recommended.

Problem fixed

This is a lovely tarot to look at and use but it had a glitch. The developers also had a problem. But I am very happy to change my previous review as the journal glitch has now been fixed and the app is working perfectly.
So a huge Thank You. I can now enjoy this app with all its features. Well worth the wait.

Journal function crashes the app

A year on and the journal still crashes the app. Anna K, ISIS tarot, Mucha tarot, all have journal crashes, not fixed for well over a year. Developer says, yes, we’ll get to it eventually.

Great Deck

Excellent deck/app. The only problem I have with it is that Arcana IIII reads L'Empereup with a "p" in the end instead of an "r" (L'Empereur). I don't know if that is on purpose and why or just a typo. I hope it gets corrected.

Edit: Some very old versions of the tarot de Marseille do read L'Empereup. The restored Camoin-Jodorowsky version does not.

The best!!!

This is one of the most flexible and richly annotated Tarot apps I have ever used.

Great job.

Marseille app rocks!

This is one of my favorites of the Fool's Dog catalog. It really allows you to practice and observe cards in their purest form and work with the minor arcana more as ideas/energies/concepts whereas most RWS inspired decks tend to work more on a visual/image/perception level which promotes more of the intuitive approach. Both approaches are good but this deck really helps you understand the cards at their most bare bones and minimal.

Seeing as how this app doesn't come with a book it would be nice if it maybe came with a little more reading material so as to illuminate the deck's history and/or how to use it. Or even better it'd be cool if the app book could use or be Alejandro Jodorowsky's take on the Marseille deck. Maybe that's easier said than done because of the copyrights and stuff. Just a thought.

This deck is also really nice if you want enter in external readings that you've done with Playing Cards (instead of tarot cards.)

Ps: on that note it'd be cool to see an app deck based on regular Playing Cards and/or one based on the Gypsy Witch Fortune Telling cards that kind of look like the Lenormand.

In any case this is very well done and looks fantastic~ Thank you Fool's Dog!!

Best Tarot app by far

Allowing personal notes, data, etc makes this app really useful.

Amazing

Very good indeed

Inspired

The app version of this deck surprises me with its thoroughness. The ability to journal readings automatically, to do open readings and rotate cards, to zoom in and out....the attention to detail is beyond what I first though the app could do.
The visuals on the cards and the interpretations are also top notch.
I highly recommend this for both beginners and long-time practitioners.

The best Tarot app.

Really love it. You may improve the journal, I had to reinstall the app to clean it all up at once.

Classic look

Bright coloured deck.

Very good app

The other tarot apps by this group have more reference/interpretive material, which I suspect is why this one costs less. It is very attractive, and the explanations are of a positive nature–but more predictive than spiritual. Works perfectly, and is set up like the other tarot apps. Very good for a novice. Useful for any reader.

User friendly beautiful Marseilles.

This app knows Tarot really well, and is very user-friendly, dare I say "smart tarot"! And the way these cards are artistically done is amazing. Love it!
