What is Island Pulse?
Island Pulse provides an API endpoint and Bearer token that allows your automations to send HTTPS POST requests with JSON data. This data is then displayed as Live Activities on your iPhone's Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
How does Island Pulse work?
You copy your unique endpoint and token from the app to use in your preferred automation tools like Shortcuts, GitHub Actions, or Zapier. Each request requires a job_id to ensure updates are routed correctly to the appropriate Live Activity stream.
What are the free features of Island Pulse?
The free version allows for one active job at a time, displaying title and message on the Lock Screen with the default layout. You also get access to the last 10 completed runs in your in-app log.
What benefits does Island Pulse Pro offer?
Island Pulse Pro supports multiple concurrent jobs (within iOS limits), provides 30 days of run history, custom job names and icons, longer runs with automatic renewal, and premium themes/layout options.
