Isle of Time

A new narration player - On iPhone, the player now fills the screen and scrolls. The progress bar has a mark where each paragraph starts, and you can skip to the previous or next paragraph. A Now Reading card shows the text being read. Tap it to open the article at that paragraph. - On iPad, the player also fills the screen: artwork on the left and controls on the right in landscape, one column in portrait. A list of paragraphs lets you start from any one of them. - Five playback speeds: 0.8×, 1×, 1.25×, 1.5× and 2×. The app remembers your choice. - Articles now mark where you stopped listening. Playback picks up at the start of that paragraph, not in the middle of a sentence. - Today has a new Continue Listening row for volumes you haven't finished. - On the Lock Screen and in Control Center you can skip back or forward 15 seconds, or drag to any point. - Playback now pauses correctly for phone calls, Siri and unplugged headphones. When a volume ends, you can play it again with one tap. - The mini player at the bottom has a new look. Also - Fixed many mispronunciations. Years are now read digit by digit. You can report a wrong reading from the "⋯" menu in the player. - Search works better in English and is now available on Mac. - Connect now sits below Information in Settings.
