FAQ

What does ISS Live Now do?

ISS Live Now provides a 24/7 live video livestream of Earth as seen from the International Space Station. It also offers access to various other space-related video feeds, including NASA TV and ESA content, and allows you to track the ISS's orbit on a map.

What are the main features of ISS Live Now?

Key features include a live HD Earth view from the ISS, an interactive map to follow the station's orbit, multiple live video streams from different sources like NASA TV and ESA, recorded spacewalk footage, and video tours of the ISS interior. You can also receive notifications for live sunrises and sunsets.

Is ISS Live Now free to use?

The app is free to download and use, offering a variety of live streams and features. However, it does include in-app purchases, which may unlock additional content or functionality.

What happens if the video feed is black or blank?

If the video feed is black, it typically means the International Space Station is on the night side of Earth, which is normal. A blank or blue screen can occur due to transmission issues or when the crew is changing cameras. The transmission should return shortly, and this is not an issue with the app itself.

Who is ISS Live Now for?

This app is designed for anyone with an interest in space, astronomy, or simply curious to see Earth from the unique perspective of astronauts aboard the International Space Station. It's ideal for educational purposes or for those who enjoy space exploration content.
