İstanbul Şimdi

İstanbul Şimdi gives you a decision, not a list of minutes: when to leave, which vehicle to board, when the next metro leaves and whether its lift works, how to get home late at night. Buses and the Metrobüs from live data, the metro from Metro İstanbul's timetable. WHEN DO I LEAVE? • The buses on their way to your saved stops, and in how many minutes they arrive • Counts your walk and tells you when to leave to catch the bus • The countdown on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and in a home screen widget • A notification when it is time to leave, on the days and hours you choose • Every day we check the estimates against the moment each bus really passed the stop; the result over up to the last 7 days is in the app WHICH ONE DO I BOARD? • Plan a journey: from anywhere to anywhere by bus, Metrobüs and rail; the first ride's minute is live, home and work one tap away • On the Metrobüs, tells you when a likely emptier vehicle follows one that may be crowded • Line pages: the stops with the buses on them, the timetable day by day, and the share of trips that ran in the last four weeks • Live map: a line's buses, the buses coming to your stop, the way of the bus you are on • İETT's announcements: trips that will not run and closed roads, at your stop and on your line; notifications if you want them • Your stop: it tells you two stops before you get off, even with the phone locked; your location is used only while the alarm is on WHEN IS THE NEXT METRO? • The next trains each way at metro, tram and funicular stations, from Metro İstanbul's timetable; the last train and the morning's first • Lifts, escalators and moving walkways out of service, most with where they are in the station • A notification when anything changes at a station you follow • Step-free journeys: ways that avoid stations whose lift is out of service or that no lift reaches HOW DO I GET HOME? • The latest you can leave to get home tonight by public transport • Buses, Metrobüs and rail, with the changes between them • A reminder when it is time to go, and a plan B through to the morning if you miss it NEIGHBOURHOOD REPORT AND WHERE'S THE MARKET • Before you rent: earthquake scenario, building age and transport at a glance, and how long a weekday morning commute takes • Street markets near you today, the nearest Halk Ekmek bread kiosk and Kent Lokantası city restaurant RESPECT • No sign-up and no account: it works the moment you open it • No tracking, no ads, free • Your location, your home and work, and the neighbourhoods you look at never leave your phone THREE LOOKS Dot Matrix, Departure Board or Telemetry: the app, its icon and the Lock Screen countdown take on the look you choose. COVERAGE AND DATA SOURCES Buses, Metrobüs, metro, tram and funicular are covered; Marmaray, ferries, dolmuş and minibuses are not yet, as there is no open live data for them.
