Great app except for the GPS
The app works ok except for
The GPS recording movement on the map, I walk along a creek trail for 5 KMs, the app made my walk look like I was drunk and didnโt really follow where I walked, the developer needs to address this, until this is fixed, save your money and use something else for use the free pedometer built into the iPhone.

Best App
Iโve been using this map since many years. Itโs effective and does the job. Most importantly its accurate
Rubbish!
I paid for this app because the old version was no longer compatible with iOS on my phone/iPad......but it's still not compatible! Please revue the situation and release a new update.

This app is the best at what it does,I have compared this app with at least 10 others and this app comes top every time.It's the most accurate,with an almost idiot proof interface and the fact that it saves your walks for later viewing is great.Although it hasn't been updated for a while, I can confirm that it works in ios 8 and ios 9 without a hitch.I've been using this app now for a couple of years now and it hasn't let me down yet.

Simple elegance
With the iOS 8 health app recording all steps all the time, this is a terrific way to select specific walks for saving and tracking: "Start new walk" at the beginning and "end walk" at the end. The number of steps, start and end times, time taken and calories used are reported, and the path taken is shown on a map/satellite image. Other apps do this, but what I really appreciate about iSteps is the design and interface; sometimes less is more and the simple elegance of this app is exemplary.

Horrible App!
This did not record steps accurately. I finally counted steps myself during a 2 mile walk and compared every 200 to 300 steps. It recorded about 25 steps to my 100 steps and was only after attaching my phone to my leg! It recorded even more inaccurately in my pocket! Do NOT buy this.
Disappointed
Don't bother buying. Didn't accurately record anything. Didn't even come close! Wish I had read the reviews first!!
Do not purchase this app
I purchased this app to help me monitor the number of steps, distance, time and route of my walks. The app did not accurately map the steps and distance...giving my a small fraction of steps and half the distance walked. I would not recommend this app until these bugs are fixed.
Would have given it 5 stars but missing interaction with FB
Great simple app BUT don't like the fact that it's not linked with FB so you can post results like RunKeeper app. Seems a bit primitive in this day and age!
iStep GPD Pedometer
I used this app once. Although this is an easy app to use, the "Map" icon did not show my route, and the "Distance" and "Time" icons did not record accurate information. I'm hoping the number of steps recorded is accurate. I'll continue to use it for now.

I steps Lite is free and more accurate and allows U to set parameters in settings to insure accuracy and paid version does not and is far from accurate

App Reads Well
This application reads well however as many have pointed out this app stops and fails to provide correct information. I checked the application as I walked out the door working fine after about one hour I checked and in had stopped working. Restarted for the next hour and it worked ok but the total walk was on logged in part. I will take this off my phone and kiss the $1.99 good bye, to bad there is no way for a refund? I know it is petty but hate to pay for something that does not work completely!!!!

Much improved. V1.4. Slide to click stop and start buttons. Haven't tried running a background app while I walk, like NPR or PandoraUmmHmm
Rubbish and waste of money
This is a rip off. It can't even count the time right let alone steps or distance.

Rubbish! Stops counting if you get call/text or phone goes into standby mode. Sort this out please!
Not bad but needs improvements
Works ok and seems to measure distance fine
However if you get a text the count stops until you clear it - so if you miss it you lose the count - sort it out !!

Okay For Walking, Not Running
Seems to assemble correct data for walking, but if you run, even with set to run, distance is way off. Ran 10 km (verified) and the unit told me only 7.6 km.
Loved it
Great app. Use it all the time. Doesn't seem to work with the new Apple upgrade. Hope that is fixed soon. I am missing this app.
