Battery Hog!
Every once in a while, will drain my battery with cell data shut off and the app not being used. Too much of a liability when I'm working or traveling. Uninstalled.
Not well thought out
Doesn’t line up, focuses on adds, content hard to find and if posted, posted well after the event.
App Developer doesn’t get it!!
The past two iterations of the Cyclones app have been pretty lousy in my opinion (and some friends.). They have not been designed very intuitively. It’s hard to figure out where to find the information you are looking for. The current version only informs the user if the event will be televised about half the time. The need to hire an app developer that is a sports fan and not just someone trying to score a buck!

Not a good debut for the update
Can’t login into account using Facebook, Apple or email. Once my old version was replaced all premium content was no longer available by login. Not a good debut for the first day.

New iPhone 14 Pro on ios16. App not working at all!
Pop up ad
Recently bought an iPhone 12 pro max and every time I try to use this app, there’s a pop up ad that comes up on the screen and there’s no way to close it to continue to use the app..
Poor excuse for a college sports app
Doesn’t remember where you were when coming back. Keeps trying to promote other sports that you’re no interested in. No easy way to go to what you want

App is blessing for us
This app has been a blessing for us!!!
We have followed soccer for the last three years including traveling around the country. The app has never let us down. If the start times or locations change, the app lets us know. It hasn’t been wrong yet! We also use it for other Soccer team info and for watching games if we can’t attend.
I have two additional grandchildren in sports in two additional different colleges. Their apps are not even close to the quality and extensiveness of the ISU app!! It resides on my home page. It’s been such a blessing for us!

Video playback unreliable
I usually have to attempt to watch the video multiple times before I can get the video steam to go. I just spent a couple of minutes watching the spinner go and got no video. My internet connection is very fast. This happens pretty much every time I try to stream a game. Not worth what they charge for video!

Schedule
The start times don’t update. For example, a football game kickoff time is announced early in the week, but you get on the app Friday and it still says TBD. What’s the point of going to the ISU app if it doesn’t even have the correct information?
Videos do not play!
Cannot view any videos on this app. It’s stays stuck on loading forever!!
App clunky at best
The app is good in theory but it’s actual operation is dismal. For example, I tried for 20 minutes to view Matt Campbell’s Baylor post game press conference. After several attempts, it appeared to finally load but after the 30 second commercial it hung up. This is not the first time. This is a frequent occurrence.

Radio Broadcast Playback Awful
Up to three years ago the radio file playback was serviceable. Then The app was updated and for the past 3 years it's ridiculous.
1 - No function is provided to skip to a specific time in the broadcast? Why? This is basic!
2- The player will randomly stop playback, then restart at the beginning. Now you're screwed and you have to listen from the beginning again. This makes no sense. Super frustrating.
It would be awesome if I could play the files on an app that actually functions. However, learfield dictates that ISU use this app.
What a bunch of Jokers. Oh, and I pay for this service. Not happy. Not satisfied. Doubtful anyone will respond or care. You should be embarrassed.

All features are well written and ISU athletic communications staff are dedicated and elite, utilizing and giving ISU students an opportunity to explore and display their creativity.

Does what you want it to do! Gave it four stars because I wish it was easier to watch older games on demand.
