Contacts saved on desktop not syncing on mobile and apps like WhatsApp

Once you save the contacts from the extension please open WhatsApp app on the iPhone. The saved contacts will be reflected on WhatsApp Web only after opening the WhatsApp app on iPhone. I WAS DEBITED TWICE AND NO UPGRADE 😡

Initially Everything Worked Fine But Recently I Have Been Debited Twice From Intoch App And No Upgrade Was Made. Debited $19 And $49 And No Upgrade Was Made. I Still Couldn’t Save Contacts. I Have Written Several Emails And Chats To The SUPORT Team And Yet No Response.

What’s Really Happening? This Is So Painful And Frustrating. I Am A Content Creator With A Large Following. If Nothing Is Done In The Next 5 Hours. I Will Give A Go Ahead Order To My Followers To Mass Report Your App And Also Leave Negative Reviews Cus That’s What This App Is All About! Fix This Now.

Processing never stops

It’s processing my contacts and it never stops since 5 days. Vicky is in charge of the chat support but even after chatting with him there is no solution to the issue. Fan of the app but now getting irritated because no support

Great addition to WhatsApp

I have been using the the desktop version to add WhatsApp contacts, very happy. I also had a small issue, so contacted support via chat and they fixed the issue straight away, very happy. 😀

Contacts lost

I open the app after a long time and clicked “ sync now”.

After one hour of downloading optimising the app deleted almost 1200 of contacts. I don’t know how to retrieve the same. I tried uninstalling restarting etc.

No use. Developer has to help me.

Changed/created new plan. Forcing migration to get features included before

App got updated, now they want me to upgrade to do what i used to do: scan business cards and include them in the agenda for 10 usd/month
This is a shame

I love this app!

But can you add a way our just put contacts in the main screen instead of what's on now! Its really annoying to keep having to go to contacts it should already be the main screen! Thx

Forces user to hand over contacts

Declining contact permission puts the user in an endless loop of asking for contact permission.

Not a good contacts transfer : Update !

Like I’ve read here in some reviews, when the contacts transferred, they got all fouled up. Some very old ones from 15 years ago, some from who knows where, missing notes and photos, plus the source point got its contacts changed the same way.

I think I have a backup on the desktop so I will try what Rokonnyc suggested. Hopefully I can get the important ones restored exactly as they were in my old phone before this catastrophe.

I cannot recommend this app for full, cross platform transfers. Limited platform transfers may be another story.

Update:

After some experimentation I discovered what the problem was and from where it seemed to originate. I was transferring contacts from a BB Z10 to an iPhone XR. It was the Z10 that was causing most of the issues. Thus, the part above about not being the best with cross platform app still applies.

Bottom line: I have all the contacts properly transferred now but it took a bit of effort. I now give it 4 stars.

Not working

In-touch has managed to add the same birthdate and anniversary of 30th November 1999 to every single one of my 2000+ contacts, which my iPhone tries to display in the calendar, meaning that every year I can’t load let alone add entries to this date in my i-calendar. A nightmare and far too lengthy a procedure to manually edit. It has also duplicated many of the entries, increasing my contacts database by at least 100%. Suggestions? Not working well for me...
