Waste of Money!!
I ha tried the lite version and liked it, so I bought the full version. Feel like I got ripped off!
Some of the categories in on lite, such as the most important "Basic Phrase" doesn't exist in the full version.
Very ticked off when I decided to upgrade at the airport just before I got on a plane to Italy, deleting the lite version and finding out in Italy, where I now have no data plan and can't download that I don't have "Basic Phrases"

Perfect ,it refreshed my Italian
Easy to use but wish it included
Really liked the lite version so I bought the full, but didn't realize that even though hundreds of words are included, a section of verbs are not.
I guess you have to buy the phrase one to get usable phrases, but I would sure like to have verbs included in this vocabulary one.

Best App So Far !!
This is a great app for beginners. I tried the free version and loved it so much I bought both 101 and 102 lessons. The audio is very clear and easy to understand. I love the spelling test, flash cards, and multiple choice study guides as well. All this app needs is a dictionary, sentence structure basic exercise instead of word puzzle and online chat rooms to practice what's been learned. I give this app 4 stars if a full Italian/English dictionary is added I will rate it at 5 stars.

Motivating
I really enjoy using this app. Multiple choice puzzle "scores" you to keep you motivated. The "puzzle" mode is a great way to ease into learning how to spell and it has helped me to get a feel for common letter combinations. Very nice functional design.
Italian Tutor 24/7 101
This is my favorite of the many Italian language apps I have tried. In particular, the quizzes and puzzles are very useful and make a good addition to the product. Also, many other language apps use computer generated voices. This one sounds real and is easily intelligible. However, as another critic wrote the size of the vocabulary is a little disappointing. None of the word categories are expanded from the lite version. For instance, the food category contains only those words included in the lite version. It is nice to know that vegetables are "verdure" but like many I like tomatoes and not okra. This app won't help you to distinguish these two vegetables. One last point, the app doesn't tell you the gender of most nouns; this makes it difficult to use the words properly in correct sentences.

I like it.
The only thing I'd request is for the English translation to be said before/after the Italian is said so that you can listen to it in a loop if desired. For example, say you wanted to listen to one category was lying in bed until you go to sleep, and even while sleeping. I think that this would tremendously help those who are auditory learners, as well as anyone else. Overall, good app.

I used to know Italian and forgot it as I grew older and this app really helped me to learn a ton of it back the only thing i would change would be that they could make the person talking and saying the words sound more interesting and that they could say it in English before they say it in Italian overall it's a good app

Great way to learn
I really like this app. This is the most entertaining way of studying a language that I've found.
The app has a bunch of different quiz methods, some which are more like a game. The multiple choice quiz is a good place to start because it's the easiest. The puzzle quiz is fun and yet at the same time does a good job of helping you remember the words. Using the audio first is a nice way of initially familarizing yourself and acts as a kind of simplified dictation test. The writing quiz is the hardest and again using the audio initially let's you gradually build on your recall ability by way of dictation testing. The feedback line is also a great aid when first learning but can be turned off when you want to exactly test your knowledge level. The optimized study scheme using priorities is brilliant. I've used the priority setting and threshold mechanism so much to narrow down the category list to only those words I'm having trouble with, then later expanding back to the full list for final testing.
Overall this is an excellant foreign language study tool.

What a great way to learn Italian without having to take a class. I love the way you can learn any time you want and it's actually kind of entertaining. It's good to have a number of different ways to study to keep from getting bored.

I've been using this for a little while but I'm very impressed already. It helps you to learn a lot in a short amount of time using a variety of quiz methods. I followed the suggested process described in the info description. Used the list function to get basic exposure to the new vocabulary, followed by multiple choice to test myself in an easy way. The puzzle quiz was fun to use and at the same time really helped instill both the meaning and sound in my memory. The write in quiz was the last step and was the most difficult. After going through it, I feel I''ve really learned the category well. I never thought learning a new language could be so enjoyable.
