Great app to review skills
I really like the set up of this app. I think it provides a lot of needed practice and reinforcement for students. This app could be used at school or at home to practice online test taking skills or just to practice math skills. Some minor adjustments such as adding a read aloud option will make this app more accessible to a greater variety of students.

Easy to use ! Great refresher for " older " non traditional students! And those starting 5th grade!
Too many wrong answers
I purchased this app to help with a boy that I tutor in math. I was going to recommend that his parents buy it for him to practice over the summer, but before I did, I wanted to try it for myself. I have done about 12 of the levels and already sent 5 emails to the company for errors. One of the being that they called a 4 sided shape a scalene triangle! That just should not be. Testing should catch things like that. Also, in the testing mode there appears to be some sort of a bug where you get a squealing noise and everything but the test timer freezes on you. If you are a kid taking a timed test and that happens it would be far too frustrating. At this point I would only say this works if you are working with someone who knows the right answer, since there are obviously many mistakes with the program itself. I will use this with the boy I work with, but there is no way I would recommend anyone who is needing to learn use it on their own. They are likely to learn the wrong answers. What a bummer!

A little rough
I just loaded the app and tried out the fraction area...in converting an improper fraction 50/6 to a mixed number, the program would not accept the simplified fractional part (1/3) as a correct answer. I also felt that some of the explanations leave a bit of confusion rather than clarify. As these (and probably more) problems with the app are refined, I can see that this could really be of some independent and classroom value. I teach math to bright kids in elementary school and the vast majority do not learn like this. An adult is necessary to help students make sense of the rather adult-like explanations. I would love some ability to clarify some items and add my own stuff to make it work with my students.

Great App!
My daughter really like it! The Only Issue I have is that it crash in the middle of a problem and my daughter gestión frustrated... Hope they fix it soon... Besides that is really great!

Fun and effective!
After a recent parent teacher conference, our fifth grader tested on the low end of average, but still maintains a straight A grade. Math is the least "fun" subject. It was suggested to spend more time after school working together on the subject. This app has been everything I was looking for. Multiple question types including decimal points and word problems. The ability to test the learning. And here's the kicker, it is so much fun, I had to pull my 5th grader off of it after 2 hours! Can't wait for he next conference to see what results are in store...

Not so great
I like the app. I like the way the graphics are done. I like the layout. The app forces close constantly so it make it difficult to use. I have both an iPad one and iPad 2. I have the same issues on both. Not worth the money as far as performance is concerned.
Question
My daughter and I were answering the "place value through billions" questions. Please review the answers to your questions because some of them were wrong.
Works great on iPad 2
No problems on trial or full version. But PLEASE allow multiple users. It is at the level of one of my children and a review level for another one but I can't keep track of who did what. Should be able to send email after completing a test. please update:)
Disappointed
Love the app until the test. Bought the full version thinking it would stop the app from freezing on the test. But it was a waste of money. The link to app support does not work either.
