Fails to start. Been using it for more than 10 years, upset at what happened.

Locks up on info page
Titles says it all really. Keep away from info button and it appears to work. Not blown away with resistors and capacitors all crammed onto one page though. Better free tools out there.
Intrusive ads
Full-screen video advertisements **with sound** appear at startup and when switching to a different function. Additionally the Lite version is not very useful: It just interprets resistor codes, and its op amp feature can be done by ANY calculator.

as someone who works with electronics circuits on DAILY BASIS,
this app is great - helps me find a particular standard resistors/caps.

Great, except .....
This would be a 5 star but for what I think is a bug: on the resister code screens the top line disappears whenever a new ad appears at the bottom. Can't find a way to get the top "input" section back after this happens, so can't type any resistor values in, rendering the app useless for me. Maybe an update will fix, or maybe I'm doing something wrong.

It needs more features, like a parallel resistors calculator. And 4 digit SMC codes would be nice. That's why I downloaded this: because it shows surface mount codes along with standard component identification. But I had to consult wikipedia when I encountered a 4 digit SMC. But hey, it's free so I can't complain... It covers all the basic components and does what it says it does.

Couldn't RESISTOR This App...
Being a virtual electronics newb this app has confirm the resistor colours and values that I have attempted to memorise...better to be certain and safe than guess. Highly recommended.
