Thank you for reaching out with feedback. The image on the App Store was taken directly from app screenshots, but there might be some customization needed to get the desired effect that you want. We’d love to help - please send us email and we can discuss at support@eddystreetproductions.com. Sorry that the hourly animation is not to your liking. The good news is that the hourly animation can indeed be turned off in the app settings - turn off the “screen saver”. Some sort of screen saver was requested by customers, but we made it possible to disable it. Thank you again for your feedback!

Bedside Clock
There are way more possibilities besides just a simple perfect bedside clock by the way. That’s just how I currently use it. Could also be an awesome desk clock because you can add the date on there too. Many functions and nice user interface too.
