Love it so far, but a few more features would help
I got this free from AppAdvice and wanted to write an honest review. I love this app so far and I use it mainly to track passport expiration dates. There are just a few features I would like to see. First, I would like an option to somehow highlight or change the color of an event based on its proximity to an approaching date. For example, change the background to yellow if the date is within one month, to orange if it’s within two weeks, red when the date elapses, and so forth. Also it would be good to see elapsed dates in the “next up” widget, also with the condition formatting mentioned above. Other than these feature requests, I think it’s a very useful app and has a lot of promise and usability.

Sorry for the slow reply, but we did not get a notification that you sent a review. You have some interesting ideas related to changing the colors. For the "Also it would be good to see elapsed dates in the “next up” widget" can you elaborate on what you mean by elapsed dates? It’s Almost There
This is a nice app and easy to set up. However, not all appointments, payment, etc, will work with the RESETS within the app. I have repeating items that happen on the third Wednesday of the month as an example. Another example would be the item may happen every two months. What this app needs is to have a “custom date” that will handle more than just an Hour, Day, Week, etc.
This app could easily a 5 Star app if you can program in making a Custom date. I hope this can happen as I am using the and enjoying the app as is and making date changes on the go.

Thanks for reaching out with your suggestions. We do have plans to expand the "reset" intervals; we have lots of suggestions that we are attempting to reconcile. Stay tuned.
There is no sounding alarm.
This app might be useful, but it has no sounding alarm or buzzer. So unless you keep checking by opening the app, you have no idea.
Pointless unless there is an alarm, that goes off, and you can set more than one alarm for that one event. One for the day before, and one a couple of hours earlier, for example.

Hmmm. You should get a notification when the occasion timer reaches zero. Will have our people look into this. Thanks for letting us know. We found an issue with provisional notifications so switched back to explicitly asking for permission.

Way too simplistic, and for the time it has been on the App Store, why does it need iOS 17?
And don’t get me started on the whole widget flashing every second.
Sloppy programming. Just update the time, don’t keep the background flashing each and every second.
At least let us turn the infernal thing off.

So Easy! Well designed Countdowns
It’s so simple to add countdowns and black-text on gold background makes for a beautiful and readable display. Worth every penny!
Great little app
The app stopped working for a bit and I went out on a limb and contacted the developer. They have 100% on point customer service and worked with me to get the app back working. This is the best count down app out there. And worth the small fee for the paid app. Thanks so much. Love this app.

Handy little app!
I've got my countdown to retirement and travel plans in it. It also allows you to email an event which I used to notify some people of my impending travel.
