An incredible journey

I’ve played these games for almost a decade now. Not steadily, but something always makes me come back to them and give a few that catch my eye some time.

“It’s Killing Time” deserves the 5 stars, and the money. It’s a perfectly crafted story with believable combat, twists and turns, and just superb writing overall.

I also really enjoyed how the author must be a fan of MMA, or just did his due diligence in his research, as the hand-to-hand combat was so eloquently described with real-life moves and situations. At times, in combat, I really felt like I was witnessing a real fight between two mixed martial artists, and it was cool getting to chime in with my choices about that.

Overall, this game is truly superb. If you’re a fan of things like the Jason Bourne movies, Liam neeson movies, Netflix’s “The Gray Man” or anything like that, you will absolutely love this game.

Extremely well crafted, very compelling, and amazing choices and results. Bravo!

Disappointed

Finished Tin Star and Zombie Exodus, then this mediocre half-finished work, what a waste of time and money…

Amazing

Thrilling action packed and sexy

Loved it

Wasn't exactly what I expected, however I still enjoyed it very much

This Game is ADDICTING

I was at a hotel & this game was recommended to me. It totally sounded like my kind of game. The game is a little different being that it is a game book; however, none the less it is definitely a well made & well thought out game! I can't stop playing it. I'm not too big on reading, but the scripts are soooo intriguing! I honestly can't wait to finish the game & then restart it so I can make different game choices and see what kind of new plot lines I get into and how it will reshape my character. If the name of the app lures you in DOWNLOAD it, you won't be disappointed. It deserves 5 stars all the way around!

Killer good time

I decided to go in a different route while purchasing a game. So I tried this and I couldn't put it down. It was so engaging. Brought back amazing memories as a kid reading the choose your own adventure books. So much better to have choices while reading then having someone tell you what to do. Lol. Looking forward to the next one great job!

Rocks!

Love this app. I don't usually buy apps but this one' great. Brings back memories of the old "choose your own adventure" stories. Really immersive and gritty. Let's you choose everything from your looks to assassination style to sexual orientation. It's for practically anyone and has some great features. I have a small phone so sometimes it's difficult to read but it allows you to adjust the font size which is pretty cool.

Couldn't put it down!!

My first interactive book and I absolutely loved it! The plot itself is really great and I really enjoyed the interaction w the story. What a great app to replace my mindless games

Very engaging gamebook, written by a pro, effective branching

Very good gamebook. The writing is extremely professional, the choices offer good branching and nice role-play option, and the stats on the character your building are a nice touch.

Fun to read, e.g., during a flight.

Five stars

Great game!!! Fast-paced fun

I love Choice of Games and have played almost all of their games. This one is absolutely fantastic. It's exciting and draws you in from the very beginning and doesn't let up. There are lots of ways to play through which is great for replay value. I really like how every choice makes a difference and you can play exactly the way you want to play. The characters are interesting and help to create a vivid atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out.

Highly recommend.

Fun Read

While this wasn't my typically genre, I really enjoyed reading this story. To be honest, I read this story a few times in many different ways. It was easy to fall into the story and chose what kind of assassin I wanted to be. My choices throughout the story were reflected in more than words, events, and outcomes. I loved watching my statistics change as the story progressed and see my final score at the end. I guess you could say I am competitive against myself and I have tried and successfully beaten old scores!

Amazing

It was an amazing story to be a part of!

Meh

Wasn't good. I Was expecting a lot more from this interactive fiction. I don't like how I'm forced to be friends with the other assassins. I wanted a lone wolf style of play. Cold and lack of empathy for human life. Their should of been a option where you worked alone not in a syndicate. Killing people who you want to kill and accepted hits that you only find interesting. Also where you could kill other prominent assassins for more fame and respect. Another thing that could of elevated this would be if you added descriptive brutal deaths.

Good way to spend a weekend!

First, I want to say that it was refreshing to play a Choice of/ hosted game that was marketed towards a more mature audience. Right up there with Zombie Exodus and Community College Hero in terms of not being afraid to really go for it instead of candy coating for the middle school crowd. Fun story and decent replay value. I thought the romance storylines were a little too generic and interchangeable, and there were a few typos, but otherwise a winner.

Very cheesy , Uninteresting Characters

This one I could tell from the start was going to be super cheezy. The game itself, like many choice of games, branches in about a billion different paths but it still was way too cheezy. The fact that most of these "assassins" are good people angers me. Who do you look up to? "Oh yah know, people any assassin would look up to: Ghandi and Mother Teresa." What? You've got to be kidding me. The story also has sone inaccuracies like when the narrator describes a pistol that uses clips. Newsflash: theres a huge difference between a magazine and a clip. Try researching what you write about. I was pretty disappointed in this one and I hope the next one I get isn't like this one.

Gangsta

This game has a great replay value. I found myself replaying it for every possible ending. Great read.

yes, yes, and yes

so worth it

Very engrossing game. Very enjoyable

I love this style of game where your imagination is engaged and your choices control the story and this one is excellent, the best interactive fiction story I've read. There are lots of branching options and it reads like a great novel. I particularly like that it had a more mature theme and feel. Loved it

The best interactive text-based game out there

I thoroughly enjoyed this interactive gamebook. I play a lot of these. I was really looking for a hitman text game while I commute to work on the metro and this one delivers on all fronts. This game offered so many choices and variations and opportunities for character development I played it several times.

It was okay

So I was really excited about the idea and storyline. But the writing and choices didn't really bring me in to the story as much as I thought it would. I felt that the choices didn't really matter because no matter what I was going to get to the point. It was entertaining enough but I won't bother playing through again.
