Mir fehlen die Worte

Seit Jahren werde ich genötigt diese furchtbare App zu nutzen um über den Schulalltag auf dem laufenden zu sein … die alte App war für mich in Sachen Benutzerführung und Übersichtlichkeit ein Alptraum. Es ist mir unerklärlich, wie man das ganze jetzt noch schlechter und chaotischer machen kann…warum zur Hölle diese ständigen Browserweiterleitungen? Eine App soll doch eben gerade die Benutzung eines Browsers überflüssig machen???
Ich würde den Entwicklern dringend raten mal ein paar junge Designer ranzulassen, die den gesamten Aufbau einmal neu denken. Der Wurm sollte dem Fisch schmecken und nicht dem Angler 🎣

Thanks for you your feedback and sorry to read about your disappointment. Our goal is that you would indeed be able to work directly on the app and not open browser so often. We are working on that. Earlier this year we concentrated more on better user experience on iPads and have been now working on some new features that reduce the times app opens a browser. New app is just a web launcher

I’m a new user and was shocked how minimal and slow to use the new app is. It’s literally just a home page in app form. When you click on Courses, for example, it simply opens a web browser inside the app to show itslearning.com.

It would be better to use the actual web page so you could take advantage of bookmarks and so on, or better yet, use the old app while it’s still supported.

Wartet auf die nächsten Updates

Am Anfang dachte ich dass sich die ganzen Fehler schnell lösen lassen würden, leider wurde ich jedoch enttäuscht. Man wird bei den meisten Sachen in die Browser Version weitergeleitet, Nachrichten werden nicht vollständig angezeigt und ich muss mich jedes Mal neu anmelden. Es ist unfassbar nervig.

Disaster

The old app wasn’t great, but this new app is even worse. Opening a mobile web page every time you need to do any task in the app is not the way this should work. At least in the old app you could go to the messages section, see what message the teacher left and go to the homework. Now as a parent we need to make a note of the homework, because you can’t switch without closing the build in mobile browser.

Secondly, just as on your mobile website, it’s almost unusable on a mobile device. Buttons at the bottom are unreachable (really, why do I need to search for the button text to ‘answer the homework question’ as that button is out of the window and I can’t scroll on to it)….

The only reason why you guys get 2 starts is because it doesn’t look dated anymore, but it definitely doesn’t make assisting with homework easier. It’s a weekly nightmare for something which should make assisting the kids easier, not harder.

Warum Web App?

Warum öffnet sich immer wenn man auf einige Tabs in der App drückt eine Web App? Und bei mir lädt diese auch manchmal nicht es gibt zwar ein Knopf um diese Web App erneut zu öffnen aber warum macht ihr überhaupt eine? Ich finde das Design unübersichtlich besonders bei den Chat warum werden bei den Chat nicht angezeigt welches Symbol dafür festgelegt wurde. Nach App Updates werden meinen Login Daten gelöscht und ich muss mich wieder erneut anmelden. Ich finde das die App so groß angebrisen wurde echt schlecht umgesetzt. An die Leute die itslearning als App benutzen wollen benutz einfach die itslearning mobil App.

Mehrere Kinder

Ich hatte die leise Hoffnung, dass die neue Version der App das ermöglichen wird, worauf viele Eltern schon warten: Die Möglichkeit, Itslearning für mehr als ein Kind mit EINER App auf EINEM Device zu verwalten. Leider scheint das immer noch nicht zu gehen, sehr schade!

In der neuen Version fehlt die alte Option, die Gesprächsteilnehmer eines Chats zu sehen, also wer in einer Gesprächsgruppe drin ist. Das gab es in der alten Version und es ist sinnvoll.
Ansonsten nutzen wir leider die alte App weiter, da die neue einfach wirklich leider unübersichtlich ist und sich für alles immer ein Browserfenster öffnet.

Kein Upload von Dateien möglich

Mein erster Eindruck war sehr positiv, alles funktionierte soweit und ich war zufrieden. Jetzt wollte ich für meine Schüler das erste Mal nach der Installation der neuen App ein Wochenblatt sowohl als PDF-Anhang als auch als Foto hochladen, aber wenn ich das unter Ressourcen als Aufgabe einstellen möchte, passiert bei der Auswahl der Datei nur, dass der Bildschirm flackert und nicht mehr bedienbar wird. Ich konnte mit Mühe noch zu meiner geschriebenen Aufgabe zurückkommen, hochladen kann ich auf diesem Wege momentan nichts mehr.
Dies wurde auf dem iPad 9 getestet.
Auch ein Einloggen über den Browser änderte an der ganzen Problematik nichts.

Unterirdisch.

Die alte App war schon schwach, aber funktionierte zumindest. Die neue App bietet kaum neue Funktionen, ist eigentlich nur eine Web-App und dazu voller Bugs. Ich muss mich gefühlt bei jedem Start neu einloggen. Absolut unterirdisch. Und dringend verbesserungsbedürftig.

Total nutzlos

Das einzige, was man in der App selbst machen kann, ist Nachrichten lesen und schreiben. Wenn man irgendeinen anderen Button drückt, wird man sofort in die Browserversion weitergeleitet. Wozu dann eine App.
Der letzten Version haben einige Features gefehlt - dieser hier quasi alle. Noch dazu gibt es offenbar ständig Probleme bei der Aktualisierung von Mitteilungen. Ich frage mich, wozu man sowas programmiert...

Unhandlich und unübersichtlich

Schade, dass die Handhabung nicht erleichtert sondern noch unübersichtlicher gestaltet wurde. Auf einem kleinen Smartphone braucht es keine Browserfunktionen, die ständig aufgerufen wird, denn aufwendige Kursaufgaben oder andere Änderungen werden sowieso eher am Laptop vorgenommen.
Ich kann die App so auch nicht weiterempfehlen und nutze weiterhin die alte Version. So lange es möglich ist.

Formatfehler und enttäuschende „nicht“ Entwicklung

Die „Neuerung“ in der „neuen“ App besteht vor allem darin, dass man in die Browserversion umgeleitet wird. Die Hilfreiche Sternchenfunktion in den Nachrichten ist verschwunden und zusätzlich dazu dreht sich auf dem iPad Pro bei „Nachrichten“ die Ansicht ins Hochformat - querlesen ist angesagt - und dreht sich bei Klick auf Kurse auch nicht mehr zurück. Der Startbildschirm bietet eine mühevolle Scrollfunktion, um die Kurse durchzugehen - oder eine Liste, bei der alle Titel gelesen werden müssen, um den richtigen Kurs auszuwählen. Ich hätte mehr Strukturierungsmöglichkeiten und „Wahtsapp“ Funktionen für die Nachrichten erwartet und ein besseres handling - wurde leider nicht erfüllt und die fehlerhafte Hochformatansicht sorgt zuverlässig dafür, dass ich die App weder nutzen werde, noch sie empfehle- Schade.

Ich bleibe bei der alten App

Finde die neue App viel unübersichtlicher. Den Reiter „Aufgaben“ fand ich in der alten App super praktisch, der wurde komplett entfern und man muss durch alle Kurse auf der Startseite scrollen (was auch nur so semi funktionier), um zu sehen wo Aufgaben sind. Das Einzige, was man wirklich als App bezeichnen kann ist die Startseite und die Nachrichten. Alles andere öffnet sich einfach nur im Browser. Bravo. Dafür, dass die App im Sommer kommen sollte und der Release mehrere Male verschoben wurde, bekommt man eine App, die einfach nur den Browser öffnet? Also wirklich ganz schwache Leistung. Nicht viel erwartet und trotzdem enttäuscht. Spart euch den Download.

Disappointing update

After hyping up this new app in 6 months and the delayed launch; the app works less than worse old app. It’s pretty much a launch pad that opens an internal web browser that takes forever to load.

Eigentlich würde ich lieber 0 Sterne geben

Die neue App ist wirklich grauenvoll. Nichts funktioniert so wie es soll, es ist potthässlich und einfach nur schlecht. Mir wird die ganze Zeit gesagt, irgendwas funktioniert nicht, bitte später nochmal versuchen. Ich werde die ganze Zeit in den hochkant Modus geschmissen, obwohl es anfangs geht, dann sind alle Verwendungsmöglichkeiten eigentlich auch nur schlechte WebApp Versionen.
0 Sterne eigentlich, aber das geht leider nicht. :(

We are also bringing a possibility to use the app in landscape format, but that update will only come some time next spring. Schlechter als vorher

Ich weiß nicht, wie man den Release 3 mal verschieben kann und dann die App noch schlechter ist, aber sie haben es geschafft. Bis auf den Start ist alles absolut hässlich, öffnet nur die Webapp und selbst diese ist nicht optimised. Einfach nur schrecklich, besonders, da der Start mit den Updates fehlt. Lieber benutze ich weiter die alte App, als diesen Graus nochmal anzusehen

Bleibt lieber bei der alten App

Die alte App war schon nicht beraubend, deshalb hab ich mich eigentlich auf die neue gefreut. Ich hatte zwar keine großen Erwartungen, dafür wurde ich trotzdem enttäuscht.
Beginnen wir mit dem UI der Landingpage: Warum sind die Icon Texte („Home“, „Kurse“, usw.) bitte ganz am unteren Ende des screens? 10-20px Luft zum atmen hätte man schon spendieren können. Ebenfalls sind Bilder auf dieser Seite unscharf bzw. Verpixelt.
Bei der Direktnachrichtenseite haben sie es tatsächlich geschafft die App noch hässlicher und unübersichtlicher zu machen als die alte.
Und ja, der Rest ist halt einfach ein Browser der sich öffnet 👏🏼.
Und dann sollte die App ja ursprünglich auch im Sommer rauskommen. Also Fazit: Wenig etwa, viel enttäuscht worden.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment. From your comment I assume you are maybe using the app with an iPad. We know app does not support iPad usage yet, but are just starting to develop the support. After that it should work a lot better also with the bigger screen of tablet. We were also sorry for not being able to launch the app in the summer, but we try to improve for the future. - Matias from itslearning

Nur Webapp

Die neue App ist leider bis auf Startseite und Nachrichten nur eine Webapp, die den integrierten Browser öffnet. Das ist auch nur mit Safari möglich. Wer einen anderen Browser als Standard gesetzt hat und für Safari die Mobilen Daten ausgeschaltet hat, hat unterwegs (wenn kein WLAN verfügbar) schlechte Karten. Dann funktioniert ein Großteil der Funktionen nicht.
Bitte deutlich nachbessern.
Die alte App ist im Vergleich deutlich besser.
